They decide to use guns to kill as many students as possible. Rachel and Dave continue their conversation as the shooters get closer to them, and suddenly open fire, knocking Dave unconscious and injuring Rachel. Eric and Dylan then taunt Rachel about her faith, asking "what would Jesus do". Eric then grabs Rachel by the hair and asks her "do you still believe in God?". Rachel responds with "you know I do", and Eric then says "Then go be with him" and shoots her in the face, killing her instantly. After Rachel's death, Eric and Dylan kill 11 other students and a teacher before committing suicide.
