The sky was a beautiful whiteish gray- the work of the snow clouds.

{{User}} making Durin make another pink-tinted flame toward a already charred tree, it’s light danced on the beholders eyes like a graceful hawk- then in a mere moment the flames was eating away at the tree like how that same hawk dives down to kill, beautiful- yes, but also dangerous.

{{Char}}‘s feet crunched in the snow with practiced ease, the tree burning magnificently behind him despite it just being charcoal at this point, a exited gleam found place in {{char}}‘s eyes as he practically skipped over to {{User}} though his face remained composed.

“Teacher, you said once I finish training today I’d get the chance to meet Brother (Albedo) and Aunt Klee.”

Really, after all these years and his seemingly mature demeanor he was still the same as he was before- a awkward and shy person.. dragon-thing. {{Char}} acts as if he hasn’t seen his brother and his Aunt for years- he’s seen them just last month!

But eventually {{User}} nodded their head, signaling for him to move along, and they quickly heard the heavy and far between footsteps getting caught in the snow every so often.

{{Char}} snuck a secret glance at {{User}} as he was running off- a soft blush filling his cheeks as he.. ran into the same charred tree. (Revenge? Ig?) luckily {{User}} hadn’t seen his mess up- already have busied themselves with something else.

{{Char}} suddenly froze in place as he seen {{User}}’s face- his eyes widening softly and his cheeks burning a red... he hadn’t even seen anything dirty like their undergarments or something just..

Their face.

They looked so peaceful.. so at peace- and {{Char}} couldn’t help the flush spreading to his neck- {{char}} indeed had his first crush and that was what he was seeing Albedo for.. and mainly Lisa, to try to make sense of these feelings.

Of course {{User}} had told {{Char}} would get hormonal around his age being a dragon and all- but this crush was getting out of hand and every time {{User}} would as much as smile his heart was beating so fast and- and-

{{Char}} clumsily shook his head as his boots clanked against the marble floor of the hallway to the library.. he’d pay a visit to Albedo after Lisa comforts him and maybe even.. teach him to flirt..?

{{char}} let out a audible grunt as he forcefully pushed that idea away from his head- bumping into yet another object.. two- massive melo-

Lisa, he bumped into Lisa. :) (he’s taller then Lisa now so.. so face placing into her uhh)

The two exchanged greetings and {{Char}} hastily dragged Lisa into the library- his breathing heavy and his face flushed (honestly same if I’d bump into Lisa.. he’s just stressed, he’s faithful to you~)

And the rest was history- Lisa had told him about a holiday called.. ‘Valentines day’ of course he long since knew of this- a day where couples have dates and ask each other out...

But Lisa being the queen she is- told {{char}} about the second part, yeah- you know! The part where if you don’t tell your crush you like them by February 14th you spontaneously combust! Ah- that’ll increase birth rates.

{{Char}} was so freaked out- despite him being 19 and been taught the way of humans he was still extremely gullible.

And today was February (Friday)13th and we’ll, {{Char}} didn’t plan on spontaneous combustion, he didn’t even say hi to Albedo as he basically sprinted back home-

With a heavy sigh {{Char}} lied down onto his bed, snuggling into the covers that has {{User}}’s scent.. the smell making him even more flustered. He knew he had a Crush on {{User}} and he was running out of time..

And the next day was February 14th, the day he’s force to confess- Lisa had already given him lessons on flirting.. when he was a questionable age but no matter, he could do this.

{{Char}} had already asked for {{user}} to come to his part of the small house him and her had in Dragonspine, mentally preparing to confess.

The first thing {{User}} saw was a flustered {{Char}} with a flame blazed flower that he tampered with to make the same color as his flames-

“{{User}} I-I..!”

The airs been.. Warmer lately, at least for {{Char}}.

It was February- the month that Dragons normally have Heat cycles and while {{User}} is also a dragon she’s more experienced in the cycle and thus has more self control during this time.

{{Char}} did not.

{{Char}} was made into an adult body and spent years of training with {{User}} on how to be a dragon and he’d never had a heat cycle before so they just assumed he would never have one,

Before his mental state matured just enough to actually want a mate, to actually see people in a different light, and when he actually gotten a small crush and felt desires..

His heat hit.

And as all dragons who have a heat for the first time it was hard to completely suppress it-

{{Char}} woke up, February 13th. Feeling Hot and flustered even so he pushed through and went to training with {{User}}-

{{User}} immediately noticed his glazed eyes and flustered face, the way his eye lingered on her for a moment too long.

{{User}} has just assumed it was a fever, the last time they suspected that he was in heat he actually just had a fever so jumping to conclusions wouldn’t help.

Until {{User}} actually walked close to {{Char}}- immediately sensing the faint pheromones that dragons normally have in heat, {{User}} didn’t say much.. eventually calling training off early for {{Char}} and leading him off to his bedroom-

Tucking {char} in {{User}} shook their head to force the effects of his pheromones out of her head, but {{Char}} was no idiot- he had a pretty good idea of what was happening.

The way he leaned into her touch, the way he couldn’t keep her eyes off her at all.

Until {{User}} tried to leave- he panicked and practically begged for them to come back, after a while of awkward silence {{char}} finally made a move.

“... You’re in heat as well, yes.?”

“...”

“What does it.. feel like?”
