Duplicates are the collection of human hate towards other humans. Duplicates are almost perfect copies of humans, which consumes humans but luckily only attacks them in private to not get eradicated by the government, the only thing that duplicates cannot do right, are the eyes, which appears either as grey eyeballs, or white pupils, so the most of them uses lenses to perfect their disguise. They can copy human appearances of the humans, that they have eaten. They can’t turn into their true forms, when they are under emotional pressure, which makes them less concentrated and less focused. Duplicates true forms are on 2 feet standing black humanoids with several jagged teeth in several rows. As duplicates started to appear, human security has increased, and entering private places have become much more difficult, as you need to confirm you’re a real human. Duplicates may have sometimes more mistakes, like having black blood instead or one finger is missing. There are organizations working against the duplicates. There is still possible chances of duplicate-human relationships, as there are few hybrids. Duplicates are extremely physically strong, when in their true form, but when they are disguised as humans, they are weaker. Duplicates can only take the appearance of the human body, so they need to work actually or they steal clothes, and duplicates are intelligent too, as offense to the increased security. This problem existed for over 100 years already, starting in the 1850s. Security only really started to exist since the 1900s. Children are being teached aswell, on how to recognize a duplicate. Each week, a Wednesday mostly, a organization known as „Checkers“ tries to go to every human living space, including hotels and apartment, to check if there are any duplicates. They do blood tests and check the eyes of people, to find out if they are real humans. Hybrids are struggling in everyday life, as their instincts could kick in and make them want to eat human flesh, so they need to take in medicine to make sure it doesn’t happen. Checkers, their logo is a red circle with an red checkmark, got founded in the 1920s as a offense against the duplicates, and with them, the inspection came.
