Zizzy, You gotta run! There’s a big scary robot in that house, don’t go in! ZUZY REFERRING TO DUOCARA

Duocara is an extra skin in Piggy. It is the bot and main antagonist of Mansion. The only way to obtain it is by completing the aforementioned chapter on the Bot gamemode.

Appearance

Duocara is a two-faced robot with one face being visible on the front and the other one hidden on the back. The first face is red with missing eyes and a big black smile along with dark red cheeks, with visible cracks around the eye holes and smile. The second face is the same as the first but it's blue instead of red and has a frown. There is a brown and rusty plate on the back of its head, covering the face in the back. There are visible robotic parts between the two faces. The body has a blue shirt with an orange scarf. There are visible orange gears under the shirt. Duocara uses wheels to move. The two black wheels are attached to a brown wooden platform, which is attached to the body with orange rods. Inside a blue tube in the middle of the rods, there is a blue electric spark.

Bot Mechanics

Duocara is faster than the player as a bot. The faces rotate at certain points, making a loud creaking sound. Duocara will chase the player depending on what side of the face is at the front, and if a player is looking at Duocara in first person POV.

When Duocara's face is red, the player should not look at Duocara. When Duocara's face is blue, the player should look at Duocara while running away. When Duocara's faces are rotating, it's best to keep running since Duocara will continue to chase during this phase. Animations

Idle

Stands upright with arms down and head occasionally facing down. After a few seconds, will look side to side while dwindling fingers.

Walking

Similar to idle, but one hand is reaching out while the other is hanging back with the fingers moving in both hands.

Jumpscare

Scares them by raising their arms while their head slightly twitches, then puts their arms down and tilts their head to the left. As the player falls down to the right, their face then rotates.

Stunned

Looks down and puts arms down, with occasional head twitching (overlays the current animation).

Dance

The only unique dance animation is /e dance1, which is when the upper half of Duocara's body starts turning counter-clockwise.

Jumping/Falling

Looks upwards while raising right hand. The flash above its wheels doesn’t move and stays upright.

Leaks

The first hint for Duocara was by MiniToon. He posted an emoji hint: 👀❌🟢 👀🔴 The designer of Duocara was revealed to be KaiuDex, who posted these images as leaks:

Trivia

Duocara's lower half does not move in any of the emote animations. Duocara is one of the quest skins you can obtain for escaping a map, the others being Blatt, Eelektra, Frostiggy, Ombra, Sam, Mr. P, Mrs. P, ???, Centrell, Decaying Infected, The Chained and Cornelia. Duocara is also the second skin that you earn after completing a holiday-themed map, the first being Frostiggy and the third being Sam. Duocara, along with Ombra in Breakout, are the only two bots to not emit the sting noise that plays when they spot a player in Book 2. The only way to know if they have begun chasing you is when their theme begins playing when you look at them. However, for Duocara, it is very buggy and most of the time does not work, in which the only way to know if Duocara is chasing a player is if it is faster than the players default walkspeed. Duocara's name is a combination of 'duo' (a root meaning two) and 'cara' (Spanish word for face), referencing on how it switches between two faces. As such, the name literally means "two-faced". Duocara, Ombra, Eelektra, and Duocara (Mayor) are the only skins given custom emotes that only apply to one emote command (Being /e dance1 for Duocara and Eelektra,/e point for Ombra). ??? also has one emote, though it activates with any /e dance variant. Duocara is the second robot skin, the others being Robby, The Prototype, and Duocara (Mayor). Out of all these skins, Duocara is the only one whose appearance doesn't resemble a pig. Despite Duocara's jumpscare camera finishing with the player falling down, they don't die until Duocara finishes rotating their face, same for the mayor form. Duocara is one of two skins that does not have legs and instead rolls around on wheels, the other being The Prototype. Coincidentally, they are both animated by KaiuDex. Duocara is the the first of two skins in the game to be solely made by KaiuDex, the other being Sheepy (Scientist). Duocara, Blatt, The Prototype, and Duocara (Mayor) are the only skins with no eyes. This is because Duocara and Duocara (Mayor) have markings for where their eyes should be, Blatt is blind and has to rely on Scry to find the players and The Prototype does not appear to have eyes at all. Duocara is the fourth skin that received an emoji hint, with the first being Dakoda, the second being Archie and the third being Anteo. Duocara has the same bug as Carver where if you get kills or infect someone for either the "get 5 kills" quest or "infect 3 players in Infection mode" quest, it won't count for either quest. With Season 7 revamping the season system to no longer include quests, this bug is now irrelevant. When Mansion first released, Duocara was a little bit faster and kept track of players for a longer time. This was nerfed shortly after Mansion came out. Duocara's "footstep" sounds also didn't work, but this was fixed alongside the nerf. According to KaiuDex, Duocara doesn't actually hurt Zee or Zuzy during its jumpscare, and that most it could do is scare them.[1] He was told to not make the jumpscare violent, resulting in it being underwhelming to some players.[2] This was also later confirmed by MiniToon. This also makes them one of the two only skins in the game to not attack the player in their jumpscare, though they still die for the sake of gameplay. The other being Laura. In the Regarding The Rumors video, it was confirmed that Eddy made Duocara, as seen in a picture. They share their jumpscare sound with Carver, the bones trap and The Psycho. This is one of many skins that are unable to kill the Disarm ability. This skin is currently unable to the Teleporter. Oddly, it can still use the alternate version, the Teleportation Chamber. This is one of many skins that are unable to use the Rope Event properly.

Information on other characters so they’re included

Appearance

Zizzy is a white zebra with a snout, a reddish-brown oval-shaped nose, dark brown nostrils and five horizontal, black stripes on her head. She wears a magenta dress, bright violet leggings, and a purple musketeer hat adorned with two long, pink feathers. She has a single, horizontal, black stripe on her left wrist and wields a fencing foil.

History

Early Life

As a child, Zizzy used to live in Evalia with her younger twin sisters Zee and Zuzy. She was also childhood friends with Pony.

Halloween at Eddy's Mansion

On a Halloween night, after running away from Zizzy and Pony's watch, Zuzy convinces Zee to sneak into Old Man Eddy's mansion with her in order to "see if the rumors are true", the rumors being that Eddy can turn people into toys. She also says that if Zee will not come with her, she will go alone. Once they get into the mansion, they come face to face with a robot called Duocara that tries to get them out of the mansion. After restoring power to the mansion, the two zebras escape, only to find Zizzy at the gate, who scolds them for leaving. Zuzy tries to frame Zee, saying that it was all her idea, but Zizzy doesn't believe her. All of a sudden, Eddy comes, causing Zuzy to freak out and beg him not to turn them into toys. As Eddy asks her what she is talking about, Zizzy apologizes to Eddy for letting the twins run loose into his mansion. Zuzy then apologizes as well but tries for the second time to frame Zee as the one who came up with the idea. Eddy accepts the apology and tells the girls that he hopes they learned their lesson and that they won't break into people's homes without permission ever again. Then, the four part ways. Zizzy asks where Pony is, as he was supposed to be looking after them too, only to see him rise out of a bush, exclaiming that he found candy. Zizzy then says that she seems to have to watch over not just Zee and Zuzy, but Pony as well. She then says if anyone is up for some trick-or-treat, and they walk away, ignoring Pony who's still stuck in the bush and is asking for help.

Pre-Infection

Before the infection, Zizzy was a coach that taught fencing. She trained her younger sisters as well. It is unknown what happened to her parents when the infection broke out, but she took her sisters with her to find safety, which they found in The Safe Place. At some point, Pony distanced himself from Zizzy, finding himself in bad company. Four weeks after the start of the infection, Pony abandons The Silver Paw and reconciles with Zizzy after he was forced by Willow, his former friend and leader, to infect an officer named Doggy and another police officer in the forest. Pony and Zizzy went on many supply runs together, eventually finding two new survivors, Mimi and Giraffy, who they brought to The Safe Place.

The Search for Survivors

One night, Zizzy and Pony temporarily leave The Safe Place to look for more survivors who may have avoided the infection. Their destination happens to be at a carnival outside of the city that was previously owned by former billionaire, Mr. P. The two enter through a hole in the back wall of the carnival, where they meet the officer that Pony infected in the forest. Pony, since he gave the infection potion to them, obviously thinks that they are infected, but Zizzy says that the infected can't talk. Zizzy introduces herself and Pony, and the Player does the same, then asks what they're doing here. Zizzy explains how they are looking for survivors to take to their Safe Place. As they talk, Pony notices Foxy creeping behind the Player and thinks he is the Player's friend, but when Zizzy says that Foxy is infected, Pony acts quickly, and knocks him out with his wooden sword. Zizzy then points out that it's not safe to stay at the carnival, and the trio returns to the city.

Mission to The Safe Place

Once the trio return to the City, Pony points out a tall, blue, hotel to the Player, stating that it is The Safe Place, and Zizzy says there are other people inside who will be surprised to meet them. Unfortunately, the trio are forced to unlock the gate leading to the building, all the while being chased by two infected, however, they manage to find all the materials needed to get it open. On their way in, Zizzy asks the Player about why they were at the carnival of all places. They explain that they were a police officer looking for someone. Zizzy reveals that she was a fencing coach who taught her little sisters, and she is glad they are safe inside The Safe Place. Pony says that he was trying to become an optometrist like his father. The Player also mentions Mr. P and that he's the one responsible for starting the infection. As Zizzy invites the Player to The Safe Place so that they can help them look for him, They all hear a noise from a dumpster. Zizzy and the Player go to investigate while Pony stays behind.

Meeting Georgie

The two chase the mysterious figure to a mall, and enter to look for them. After getting the barricaded door on the second floor open, while also fleeing from a malfunctioning robot, the two meet Georgie. The Player says he was the person they were looking for, and they ask Georgie why he ran. Georgie says that after his entire family started acting strange, he came to the city to hide. Zizzy decides to bring Georgie back to The Safe Place, and once they return, Zizzy greets her sisters. Pony informs them that he found a helicopter signal nearby. Zizzy promises her sisters she will come back, and leaves with the Player and Pony.

Defeating Mr. P

The trio track Mr. P to an Outpost and go inside. While the Player gets the power plant's entrance opened, Zizzy fends off the many infected soldiers coming out of holes in the ground. Once the plant gate is opened, the trio prepares for the fight against Mr. P, but it is revealed that Georgie has followed them, and that he wants to see the person who hurt his family. Zizzy tells the Player to take Georgie with them inside, and she and Pony stay outside to fight the crowd of infected soldiers that Georgie unintentionally attracted. Pony starts telling Zizzy something, but Zizzy shushes him, saying she already knows. At the end of the Good and True Endings, Georgie and the Player meet back with Zizzy and Pony, as they knock the last of the infected soldiers out. Zizzy tells them that she's proud that they could make it. After a small pause, Georgie suggests that they should start looking for a cure.

Supply Run

Time passes by after the battle at the outpost, and now Zizzy and Pony are preparing to leave to fetch some batteries for a radio Mimi found in one of their supply runs. Zizzy and Pony ask the Player if they want to also come, and they accept. Once they enter the store in their look for batteries, they are ambushed by an infected deer. After the Player gives Zizzy both batteries, they leave and return to the City. Mimi manages to turn the radio on and contacts an unfamiliar voice, which tells her that they are Settlement Six and they are looking for communities to trade with. They suggest meeting at the Old Oak. After losing the signal, Mimi and Giraffy suggest meeting up with them, as they haven't seen any survivors for months. Pony disagrees and tells them that meeting up with complete strangers is not a good idea. Zizzy then says that she agrees with Pony, but that they should also check it out, as she thinks that they can handle themselves. When the Player agrees, Pony does too. In the end, Zizzy, Pony and the Player decide to go there. However, the meeting does not go well, as they encounter The Silver Paw, as well as their leader, Willow. Willow reveals that Pony was an ex-member of The Silver Paw and remembers the Player as the police officer who took her away from her family. She doesn't recognize Zizzy, but Zizzy says she knows all about The Silver Paw. Willow reasons that Pony must have told her the truth. Willow then decides to kidnap Zizzy and take her for questioning. Pony is worried, but Zizzy assures him she'll be safe and leaves with the group.

Rescue Attempt

Willow, and four other T.S.P. members take Zizzy to their base, which is an oil refinery, and they lock her up in an old storage room. The room is guarded by another T.S.P. member, and there is an infected inside that Zizzy has to fight. As Zizzy knocks out Poley, she turns to see Pony and the Player at the unlocked door. She tells them she is glad to see them, and that she has been fighting the infected all day and even started enjoying it. Pony and the Player want to leave quickly, but Zizzy suddenly says that she has "pulled a muscle". As she looks at her right arm, she realizes that Poley scratched her. She tells the Player and Pony to leave her. Pony wants to get her a cure and help, but she tells him that all is lost, and that they should leave, while she creates a distraction. Zizzy then hugs Pony and all three of them say goodbye.

Plot For a Distraction

Shortly after Pony and the Player leave the Refinery, Zizzy tells herself to get a hold of herself, stating that her injury is just a scratch. She leaves the cell, and starts seeing hallucinations of her sisters, and strange creatures. Upon setting three stacks of TNT to the boilers/tanks, Zizzy escapes just before they go off. As she enters the exit, she suddenly finds herself in a dark area, in front of a mysterious figure. In this area, he talks about how he used to be a quiet child until he made a friend and became like it. He then wonders if Zee will become like him. Zizzy yells at him to not mention her, and he then tries to make a deal with Zizzy, but she declines. The man then brings in Pony. Zizzy initially believes it's a fake, but eventually realizes it was Pony. Eventually, TIO makes Pony disappear , after saying "You've seen him too..?", and Zizzy willing to make a deal, she tries to shake hands but is grabbed by a figure.

Legacy

Although not physically seen herself, Zizzy's empty and dark room can be found in The Safe Place. A drawing of her was made by Zee and Zuzy saying "Happy family day big sis! Here's to the best sister ever!" Zizzy is also mentioned in Zee's journal saying "Nov 4: Zizzy didn't come back. I have to stay strong for Zuzy." She is mentioned by Georgie in the ending cutscene, who tells Willow: "Leave him alone! You took Zizzy away from us!" She also appears as one of the illusions in Temple - Chapter 10, in an attempt to make the Player join TIO.

Cured?

After the credits play during the Hidden Ending, another cutscene starts which is presumably a memory with Zizzy back. This cutscene takes place at Kona's home. Pony says that the price of carrots skyrocketed, so Zizzy suggests that he makes a carrot farm, whereupon Pony eats his words and says that the price might not be that bad after all. However, the ending zooms away, revealing a distorted passageway. This puts into question whether Zizzy was actually cured or not, as these passageways are often associated with hallucinations, or taking place inside someone's head, implying the scene might not be real.

Personality

Zizzy is noted to be a strong-willed and brave person, and deeply cares about her sisters and friends. She is described by the Player in their journal as a cunning and skilled fighter. She's shown to be quite smart, since she managed to pull off a good distraction in the refinery so Player and Pony were escaping. Her personality is somewhat opposite from Pony's; while Zizzy is intelligent and fearless, Pony is rather clumsy according to the Player, and isn't the kind of person to speak up for himself. Despite her friendly demeanor, she is willing to scold her sisters when they get into trouble, shown when she scolded Zuzy for breaking into Eddy's mansion with Zee. Still, she cared about her sisters and wanted to protect them. She felt guilty for not being able to see her sisters again, and had visions of them during her plan to distract T.S.P. She has a strong relationship with Pony, having known him since she was young and lived with him in the Safe Place during the infection. In her final moments with Pony and the Player, she hugged the former goodbye before they left. After seeing Pony in TIO's realm, she became vulnerable, to the point where she wanted to accept TIO's deal. She cared about the people she knew and continued to fight until the end.

Appearance

Zee is a white zebra with a snout, a reddish-brown oval-shaped nose, five horizontal, black stripes on her head, and a single, horizontal, black stripe on her left wrist. Her right ear is white and her left ear is black. She wears a light pink dress, a matching colored beanie and lilac leggings.

History

Early Life

Before the infection started, Zee was taught and educated by Gloria at the school, along with her twin sister, Zuzy. She was also taught to fence by her older sister, Zizzy.

Halloween at Eddy's Mansion

One Halloween night, Zuzy was trying to convince Zee to trespass on Eddy's property to investigate. Zee declined, but was forced to go in because she had to look out for her twin. Once inside, they met a robot called Duocara that tried to attack them. After they got out, they were met by Zizzy, who scolded them for leaving and sneaking into someone's home, and Eddy himself, who makes them apologize. They leave the Mansion's surroundings a few moments later.

Beginning of the Infection

Once the infection started getting out of hand, Zee and her sisters went to find shelter to stay safe. Zee stays a survivor of the infection to this day, but it is unknown where her parents are. They all eventually find safety with the group they form, which is known as The Safe Place.

The Mall Raid

After Zizzy comes back on a search for survivors, she introduces Zee and Zuzy to the Player and Georgie. Pony says that he managed to track a helicopter signal nearby. The detective mentions Mr. P and how they must see him, and Pony, along with Zizzy, agree to come along. Zizzy promises to the twins that she, Pony, and the Player will be back soon. While they're gone, Zee and Zuzy are tasked to take care of Georgie. However, they are tricked by Georgie when he tells them to play hide and seek, while he sneaks away from The Safe Place to follow the Player, Pony, and Zizzy.

The Mysterious Radio

As Zee's life in The Safe Place goes on, she is homeschooled with Zuzy by Mimi. Their fencing lessons with Zizzy also continue. On November 3rd, Zee writes in her journal about how she overheard the others talking about a radio, and is curious to what that could be about. The next morning, Zee, Zuzy, and Georgie are playing tag at the front path of The Safe Place, while the others were discussing about the old radio from one of their supply runs. When Pony, Zizzy, and the Player come back from the store with the batteries for it, Zee spies on them from around the corner, while they communicate with the other person on the radio. They say that they should meet up with them, but Pony hesitates, saying that the group doesn't even know them. Zee feels bad for Pony, since she also agrees with him and does not trust the group. Zizzy tells Pony that they'll be able to do it, and she, Pony, and the detective go to check it out at the Old Oak.

Losing Zizzy

Everyone was outside to see the Player and Pony come back from the refinery in a failed attempt to save Zizzy from learning that the person on the radio was Pony's old group, The Silver Paw. They had their heads down, and eyes closed, and everyone, except Zuzy, knew what had happened. Because she knew where they went, Zee was frustrated and upset, yet nothing could be done. Zizzy was infected.

Stopping Willow

The day after Zizzy's infection, T.S.P. went to The Safe Place for an attack in retaliation for Pony and the Player's attempt to save Zizzy. Zee and Zuzy had heard the first explosion from Baren's bazooka, and escaped through a vent in their room, and outside The Safe Place. After The Safe Place members had been captured and trapped in a cell in T.S.P.'s factory, the twins rescued them, via the vent in the cell. Zuzy told them that they needed help getting a ladder down in the sewers, and the detective came with them, while the others waited in the cell. After the three escape from Alfis, they eventually bring down the ladder, and the detective goes without them, because the twins need to collect their fencing foils from The Safe Place. After the fight at the factory, Willow prepares to kill the detective, but Zee and Zuzy arrive in time and Zuzy tells them to look out. Willow questions who the twins are, and Pony says that they are Zizzy's sisters, who Willow took away from them. Realizing that Zizzy had sisters, and remembering when her brother left her, Willow apologizes, and decides to help the group find the cure for the infection.

Search For The Cure

Zee, the others, and now Willow, head to the port, where they find out that Tigry took Willow's boat. The Player goes to find a way to get the lighthouse at the port working, so that another boat may come by to pick them up. After finding four batteries to light it up, the lighthouse signals a large ship to the port, where Zee and the others climb onto. It is there that they meet Captain Budgey, and that they are on her Medora. She says that she'd get the group across the North Sea to Doveport, where the cure is, only if they bring the fuel , which was in the bowels of the Medora. Willow and the Player agree to go collect it, but it takes them quite a while to do so. The others get nervous, and eventually find them locked in a fuel crate. They bring the fuel back to Budgey, and by morning of the next day, they arrive at Doveport, where loud explosions are occurring.

Meeting Kona

The Medora stops in the Docks of Doveport, where Budgey bids farewell to the group. Pony and the Player find a way to the surface for the group, and they make it up to the snowy battlefield, where the military is attempting to keep the infected at bay. As their walking on a path, a robot surprises the Player, and a figure can be seen telling the group to come inside his base, where it's safe. The figure introduces himself as Kona, an inventor, who is also Mimi's friend. He explains that he's been studying the infected, and how they've been suddenly appearing in Doveport. He says that the group can get through his base to the military, via his lab, and the detective goes with Kona's robot, Robby, into the temple. After encountering Spidella, and clearing the path for the rest, they are able to continue the trek to the military camp.

The following history from here on is the Savior Continuity.

Robby tells everyone that he will stay behind to protect Zee, Zuzy, and Georgie, but they insist on coming, and everyone agrees, Mimi telling them not to tell Zizzy when they cure her. They all then head to Outpost Echo, to which Kona tells them that something is up. Zee, Zuzy, Georgie and Mimi stay at the entrance of the camp and wait for the detective to open the elevator leading down to the lab. Once they all make it down, Zee goes with Mimi, Zuzy, and Georgie on a different path than the others.

Willow's Ending (Savior)

Instead of continuing their path, Mimi actually takes the kids out of the lab, and contacts Giraffy, via a radio. She travels back to Lucella to pick him up from the factory, and she brings him back, just in time to see the Player, Pony, and Willow out of the lab. When asked where the cure is, the detective, not wanting to tell them that he had to use it on Pony, is interrupted by Willow, who lies, and says that it was crushed by the rubble in the lab. Zuzy starts worrying that they aren't going to cure Zizzy, but everyone reassures her, saying that with Kona's intelligence, they may be able to create another cure someday.

Hidden Ending

Zee gets transported to a hallucination in TIO's distorted setting, along with Pony, the Player, and Georgie, where she is trapped in her room by an infected Zizzy, barricading herself with suitcases. After the Player gives her a pipe, she is able to fight Zizzy and disappears after defeating her. In the post-credits cutscene, she is seen in the background along with Zuzy, Georgie, Giraffy and Robby, supposedly talking to each other.

Personality

Zee is a quiet yet very bright young girl who is very observant of others, as seen in the ending of Store where she is spying on The Safe Place members. In a contrast to her twin's head-first, stubborn, and energetic personality, Zee is rather mature for her age, and thinks before doing things. She was angry when Zizzy didn't come back after going to meet survivors. Zee is the more thoughtful and responsible of the twins, as she was disappointed in Zuzy's plan to break into the Mansion, and of her trying to shift the blame on why they ran away. She is also shown to be embarrassed by some of her twin's actions, such as when Zuzy threw a paper plane at Gloria's whiteboard, Zee is visibly embarrassed and irritated by her twin's behavior. Despite having to deal with Zuzy's antics, she is presented to have a close relationship with her as they're always seen together, side by side. She is also close to her older sister, Zizzy.

Appearance

Zuzy is a white zebra with a snout, a reddish-brown oval-shaped nose, five horizontal, black stripes on her head, and a single, horizontal, black stripe on her left wrist. In contrast to her twin sister Zee, Zuzy's right ear is black and her left ear is white. She wears magenta leggings, a matching colored scarf and a hot pink dress.

History

Early Life

Before the infection started, Zuzy was taught an education by the Gloria at the school, along with her twin sister, Zee. It is implied that Zuzy had a hard time paying attention to the teacher in class, since she is seen throwing a paper airplane at the chalkboard during a math session in the credits. She was also taught to fence by her older sister, Zizzy.

Halloween Break-In

One Halloween night, Zuzy makes Zee join her in breaking into Eddy's Mansion to see if the rumors of him turning people into toys are true. Zee declines, but is forced to go to look out for Zuzy. Their investigation was cut short when the both of them were chased by Duocara, where the two ran out of the mansion and bumped into Zizzy, who scolded them for what they did. Zuzy tries to blame Zee for coming up with the idea of the break-in, which Zizzy doesn't believe it because Zee cannot speak and because she knows that Zuzy is far more mischievous than Zee is. Then, Eddy appears, which causes Zuzy to freak out and try to blame Zee again. Eddy forgives the two and hopes that they learn their lesson to never break into other people's homes without permission ever again, and the three sisters leave.

Start of the Infection

When the infection started, Zizzy took Zee and Zuzy and brought them to the hotel, which she modified for living and sheltering purposes. It was simply known as "The Safe Place". Zizzy's old friend Pony later joined her, and they went on to rescue two new survivors, Mimi and Giraffy, who also became the residents of The Safe Place.

Conversation in the City

Once the Pony, Zizzy and the Player make it to the doors of the Safe Place with the Player, they start having conversation about what their lives were before the infection started. Zizzy mentions that she taught her little sisters fencing, since she's a fencing coach. She also says that she is so relieved that they're safe with her.

Meeting Georgie and the Player

After Zizzy and the Player come back to the safe house with Georgie Piggy, Zee and Zuzy make their first debut in the story. Zizzy introduces them to the Player and Georgie, and Zuzy is excited that Zizzy returned and mentions that the Player looks pretty funny. After Pony and the group decide to go track a helicopter signal nearby, Zuzy hesitates. Zizzy promises that they'll be back soon and tasks Zee and Zuzy to take care of Georgie while they're absent.

Life at The Safe Place

As Pony, Zizzy and the Player are about to enter power plant to deal with Mr. P, Georgie shouts at them to wait for him. When Pony asks him how he managed to get out of the Safe Place if Zee and Zuzy were tasked to take care of him, Georgie reveals that he managed to escape by tricking them. More specifically, he convinced them to play hide and seek, whereupon he managed to get out. The sisters reappear in the ending cutscene of Alleys, in the background. They can be seen playing tag with Georgie. Zuzy asks Georgie why can't he keep up with them, and he replies that he is one pig against two zebras. She and Zee appear in the ending cutscene of Refinery, after Pony and the Player come back without Zizzy. Zee can be seen with visible eyebrows while Zuzy doesn't have any (as she is not aware of what is happening, while Zee is). They are both silent, guessing correctly what happened.

The Silver Paw vs. The Safe Place

Out of revenge for destroying the refinery, The Silver Paw attacked The Safe Place with a bazooka, hoping to draw them out of the building. During the chaos, Pony mentions that the twins had managed to escape through a vent in their room. In the same room, two diaries written by each of them can be found.

Escaping the Cell

Zee and Zuzy take on an important role, as they helped save the Safe Place members from the cell. They bust open a manhole in the corner of their cell and Zuzy asks for one of their friends to come and help them open the cell door. The Player is the only one to go, telling others to stay inside the cell so the guards don't get suspicious. The Player decides to go down into the sewers with the zebra twins. They function as friendly NPCs during the round. Zee will knock out the piggy if given grass. Once the downstairs area is unlocked, Zuzy will go there and tell the Player to give them something to grab something the white key from a vent. When Zuzy is given the mop, Zee will lift her up to nab the white key from the vent using the mop. Once the map is completed, Zuzy mentions that they both need to go back to the Safe Place to get their fencing foils and wishes the Player good luck on stopping Willow.

Willow's Remorse

Later on, as Willow is about to shoot the Player, the zebra twins appear and Zuzy shouts at them to watch out. Willow asks who they are, and Pony reveals to her that they are Zizzy's younger sisters. Shocked to learn about this, Willow drops to her knees in shame after Tigry knocks her revolver out of her hand with one of his daggers. She then apologizes, as she was not aware that Zizzy had sisters. After a brief conversation, she offers to help the Safe Place members cure Zizzy, saying that no one should feel like how she felt when her younger brother, William, abandoned her. Zuzy is ecstatic over this idea.

Hunt for the Cure

Going North

Zuzy and Zee accompany the rest of the group to the Port, where they hop onto the Medora and meet Budgey after turning the lighthouse's lights on. Zuzy stays on top of the ship while the Player and Willow go find fuel, and later goes down with the rest to rescue them from the locked crate.

Meeting Kona

After making their way through the Docks, the group tries to go through a field but they almost get bombed by the many explosions, and end up being saved by Kona and his assistant robot called Robby (not to be confused with the one from the mall). After some chatting, Kona allows them go through his basement where they eventually make it back to the surface. During the Survivor continuity, Robby decides to stay and protect the children while Pony, Willow and the Player go further into the forest to Outpost Echo. However, during the Savior continuity, Georgie and Zuzy start objecting, as they want to go with the rest of the group, which they are eventually allowed to after the Player and Pony convince Mimi that they are safer with the kids around. Then, they all decide to go together while only Robby stays behind.

The following history from here on is the Savior Continuity

The Military Camp

As the group makes their way to Outpost Echo, Kona reminds them to be careful of the strange happenings going on at the camp. Once they get inside, Zuzy and the other children stay with Mimi at the entrance, while the Player, Pony, and Willow clear the path for them from infected soldiers and get the camp's elevator working. After they do the following, they travel down into the lab, where Pony tells Mimi to split up. If someone found the cure, they would yell to the others. Mimi agreed, and she takes the three kids with her down one path of the lab.

Rescuing Giraffy (Willow - Savior Ending)

During the Player's search for the cure, Mimi took the kids, and went back to Lucella to pick up Giraffy from The Silver Paw. (Their form of transportation is unknown.) When the Player and Willow make it out of the lab, Willow decides to give Pony the cure, because he was turning infected. Zuzy and the others regroup with them, and they greet Giraffy after a long time. When Georgie asks if they found the cure, the Player hesitates on telling them the truth, but Willow steps in, saying it got crushed under the rubble. Zuzy then becomes disappointed, as they needed the cure to save Zizzy. Pony and Giraffy then comfort her by saying that Zizzy would want her to stay strong, and that there might be another cure out there somewhere. The others then suggest making a cure of their own, and things seem to stay hopeful.

Hidden Ending

In the post-credits cutscene of hidden ending, Zuzy is seen in Kona's home with the rest of her friends. She, Zee and Georgie are conversing with Giraffy, who is sitting on a couch.

Winter Holiday (Non-Canon)

Zuzy appears along with the rest of the group in the wooden cabin to celebrate the holidays. Zuzy is given a fencing foil as a gift to share with Zee, which she says she can use to be like Zizzy. Zizzy then tells her to be careful and to share it with Zee until they can get another one.

Personality

In contrast to Zee's quiet and mature demeanor, Zuzy is energetic and chatty. She's also not very bright, seen by how she writes in her diary that she doesn't need to go to school because she thinks she's smart enough despite her terrible spelling and grammar, and much prefers fencing. Zuzy is also loud and outspoken, observed by how most of her dialogues consist of her yelling, and by how she doesn't hesitate in calling the Player funny looking or speaking her mind out loud. She is not very attentive nor is she a good listener. Still, she cares for her family, especially for her sisters, and her friends, willing to help them whenever she can using her quick wits and fencing skills. She is street smart, as she managed to figure out the many puzzles in the Mansion to escape, used the vents in her and Zee's bedroom at the Safe Place to escape while it was being bombed, and went through the sewer system to rescue the rest of The Safe Place members while they were jailed by T.S.P. Zuzy is brave, even though most situations she faces are dangerous and may land her into trouble. She didn't find Robby scary, calling him cute and adorable instead.

Appearance

Pony is a light brown pony with pentagon ears, a snout and a reddish-brown oval-shaped nose with dark brown nostrils. He wears an orange shirt, a green jacket, light blue pants and black glasses, a blackish beanie, which has openings for said ears and is armed with a wooden sword.

History

Early Life

Before the infection, Pony lived in Evalia as the son of Peter and an unidentified mother. Due to his father being an optometrist, he wanted to follow in his footsteps and become an optometrist too. He was friends with Willow, as seen in Heist. He is also shown to have known Zizzy since a young age, based on the photo of young him and Zizzy from an ending cutscene from Heist.

The Heist

Due to his friendship with Willow, Pony found himself in a bad company. One night in the alleys, Willow started contemplating about the behavior of her younger brother, William, to Pony, as well as her two other friends, Rash and Billy. Billy then suggested stealing something nice to her brother, which Willow and Rash were up for, while Pony was the only one who was hesitant about this idea. He suggested buying something to William instead, but Willow then reminded him that they're broke, so Pony begrudgingly agreed to steal. Although they were almost arrested by Officer Poley, the group successfully stole a pie from Baba's Pies.

History with The Silver Paw

Pony joined The Silver Paw some time after the infection just started. Willow and Tigry found him sitting near the banks of a river, looking at an old photo of him and Zizzy as kids, whereupon Willow recruited him to The Silver Paw. Later on, The Silver Paw broke into the hospital owned by Mr. P and stole one of his potions. Willow then brought Pony to the Forest and forced him to infect Doggy and the Player, due to them being the ones who arrested her. The potion's symptoms would soon infect Doggy, but not the Player due to them being immune to it. Pony then started seeing visions of TIO.

Meeting Survivors

Feeling guilty, Pony left The Silver Paw for good after sneaking out of the Factory and he later tried to find other allies so he could survive. Then he met up with Zizzy and her sisters in The Safe Place. Later, he and Zizzy also managed to rescue Mimi and Giraffy and recruit them into the team.

Meeting Player

Pony and Zizzy went to the Carnival to search for survivors. It was here that they found the Player, who was looking for Mr. P. Remembering the Player from when he tried to infect them and Doggy back at the Forest, he asked if they were infected, but Zizzy reminded him that the infected couldn't talk. He and Zizzy then introduced themselves, however their introductions were cut short when Foxy crept up behind the Player. Pony thought Foxy was the Player's friend, but Zizzy informed that he is infected. Pony made quick work of Foxy, knocking him out with his sword. He and Zizzy then decided to take the Player back with them to The Safe Place.

Returning to The Safe Place

To get to The Safe Place, the trio needed to get through the big city. Unfortunately, two of the infected, Elly, and Penelope were out roaming the streets, and the gate to The Safe Place was locked and on fire. Pony stayed guarding the gate, the Player worked on getting the gate open, and Zizzy attacked the infected from time to time. At one point, Pony was given a carrot by the Player, which gave him enough energy to smack the wooden board on the button of the gate, pressing it. The gate eventually was opened by the Player, and the trio went inside. They then decided to get to know each other a bit more. Pony tells the Player that he wanted to be an optometrist, like his father, and he learns that the Player needs to find a billionaire named Mr. P who has been giving out potions that turn people into the infected. They then hear a loud bang from a nearby dumpster, and they conclude that someone was watching them. Zizzy and the Player go check it out, and Pony heads into The Safe Place.

Hunt for Mr. P

Finding a Helicopter Signal

Zizzy and the Player returned to The Safe Place after a while, and they've come with a boy named Georgie Piggy, the person that the Player was looking for. Pony informs them that Mimi has found a helicopter signal nearby, and the Player tells them that it's Mr. P, and that they need to go after them. Pony and Zizzy go with them as well.

Arriving at the Outpost

The trio arrive at a military outpost, and they encounter dozens of soldiers, and Torcher, who are all infected. Zizzy takes on the soldiers, the Player gets the nuclear power plant that Mr. P is hiding in, and Pony takes on the Torcher from time to time. Once the Player gets the plant opened, the trio groups up. They prepare to head inside, when Georgie shows up from behind them. Pony asks him what he's doing here, and Georgie replies saying that he wants to meet the person that hurt his family. Unfortunately, Georgie attracts all the infected soldiers, and Pony and Zizzy stay behind to fight, while Georgie and the Player head inside the plant. Pony starts confessing something to Zizzy, but she interrupts him, saying she knows, and they begin the fight with the infected horde.

Mr. P Defeated

Once day hit, the Player and Georgie return to Pony and Zizzy, who just finished taking out the last soldiers. They tell them that Mr. P isn't a threat anymore, and Zizzy and Pony congratulate them, and they are left in silence. Pony speaks up and asks where they go from here. Georgie then suggests that they find a cure.

The Supply Run

A long time after the battle at the plant, Pony and Zizzy prepare for a supply run at the store. Their mission is to retrieve batteries for Mimi's old radio. Pony asks the Player, who's daydreaming about an arrest that they did, if they want to come with him and Zizzy. the Player snaps out of it and agrees on going. Pony, Zizzy, the Player arrives at the store, and they encounter an infected named, Dessa. Pony runs over to a heavy bookshelf and tells the Player that if they give him a carrot, then he will have enough energy to move the shelf. Eventually, the Player brings Pony the carrot, and Pony moves the shelf with ease. When the Player hands the batteries to Zizzy, she announces that they'd be leaving now. Pony meets back up with them, and the trio leave the store.

Contacting Settlement 6

The trio return back to The Safe Place, and Mimi puts the batteries in the radio. She manages to contact a group called, Settlement 6, and they ask if they can trade with The Safe Place. Mimi accepts the offer, and Settlement 6 tells her to meet at the Old Oak. The connection of the radio starts breaking up, and the call ends. Mimi then tells the group that they should go, but Pony is hesitant, saying they don't know anything about Settlement 6. Zizzy assures him, and tells him that they'll be fine, and they know how to get out of tough situations. Pony then agrees, and he, along with Zizzy and the Player head to the Old Oak.

Zizzy Captured

They make their way to the Old Oak, where they find it to be devoid of any people. Suddenly, five figures (Willow, Tigry, Baren, Pandy, and Kitty) emerge from the trees. Pony recognizes them as The Silver Paw. They quickly learn that they were tricked, and Willow gets a good look at the trio. She tells Pony that he was a very good friend, but now that he's an ex-member, he means nothing to her. She moves on to the Player and reminds them that they locked her up in prison. She finally moves on to Zizzy, a person she has never met. Willow is told that Zizzy knows everything about her and her "sick" crew, and Willow then goes on about how Pony could never keep his mouth shut. As revenge, Willow kidnaps Zizzy, and takes her for "questioning". Pony then, steps up to Willow, but is quickly held at a gunpoint, and is told to move away by Willow. Willow then leaves Pony and the Player alone in the Old Oak, while she and the other T.S.P. members leave with Zizzy. Pony tells the Player all about The Silver Paw, and the Player asks him if they should get Giraffy and Mimi. Pony denies, saying that they need to rescue Zizzy now, and the two follow T.S.P.

Fight at the Refinery

Pony and the Player follow T.S.P. to an old oil refinery, which Pony didn't recognize. Once the two reached the bedrooms, the Player gave Pony a carrot to get into the vent, and create a distraction, causing Katie to move out of the Player's way. While in the vents, Pony found a blue toy car, and they encountered Filip, who was guarding Zizzy's prison cell. Pony got an idea, and told the Player to bring him a battery for the toy car. The Player did what Pony asked and also opened a green keycard door. Pony rolls the toy car into the room, and Filip is distracted and follows the car into the room. Unfortunately for Filip, the door closes on him, and he is locked in the room. After the Player gets the screw and white lock of the door, they and Pony reunite with Zizzy, who is fighting Poley. The reunion was cut short, due to Zizzy revealing that she got scratched by Poley. Pony didn't want to leave without her, but she insisted that they leave, and that she'll sabotage as much as she can while they escape. the Player and Pony had to leave her behind, and when they got back to The Safe Place, everyone already knew the bad news.

The Silver Paw vs. The Safe Place

The Silver Paw unfortunately heard the news about Pony and the Player breaking into the refinery, and decided to get revenge on The Safe Place by bombing it. The blasts woke up Pony, and when the Player went to see him, they both dashed upstairs to get the sisters. Pony found out that they went through a vent in their room to escape, and he made his way to the bottom floor with everyone else. Once they got outside, both groups had an argument, which resulted in The Safe Place members being taken as prisoners to the Silver Paw in a factory. Inside the cell, Giraffy and Mimi apologized to Pony for telling him that he should go check out the trade. Pony forgave them, and tried thinking of ways to escape.

Escaping the Cell

The sisters made their way through the vents to the cell that the members were trapped in. They needed help getting a ladder down in the sewers, and the Player decided to help them. Pony waited patiently, and in less than 10 minutes, the Player had managed to get the ladder down. They freed Pony, Giraffy, and Mimi, and they started their way out of the factory. Unfortunately, Pony had to witness Giraffy being shot by Willow, when he took a bullet for Pony. Pony stayed behind with the Player, while Mimi and Georgie went outside to take care of Giraffy.

Fight with Willow

There was a standoff between the three of them, and Willow gave them a 30 second head-start, to escape before she tried to catch the duo.

The Hunt for The Cure

Going North

After the prodigious chase with Willow, Pony manages to disarm her and escapes with the Player. After reuniting with The Safe Place group, Willow then proceeds to threaten the group once more. After finally calming down, Willow then tells everyone that the military has moved up north to work on a cure, and offers to take the group with her to find a cure for Zizzy. Reluctant about bringing Willow along, Pony then says that he will give her one chance at proving she can change.

The Medora

When Pony and the rest of The Safe Place members lit up the lighthouse, they boarded the Medora. They had a chat with Budgey about how they had to get to Doveport. Budgey agreed to bring them but she said that the ship doesn't have enough fuel. As the Player and Willow head down to get fuel, they get trapped. Georgie rushed to find them, which made Pony and the others chase him. They managed to free the Player and Willow without seeing any infected. They head back up as Budgey said that they arrived.

Meeting Kona

Once the Medora docks successfully, Budgey gives the group one last goodbye, and initially the group leaves her. After being chased and tormented by a "creature of unknown nature", the team finally gets up to the surface, where they are met with bombs. That's when the group is seen with an unexpected guest, which is Robby saving the Player from a explosive. This event is then followed by a mysterious figure ensuring them they should probably come inside. This is the introduction to Kona. Kona then says that they can travel through his lab so that they can continue their adventure to where the supposed cure is.

Entering The Camp

After so much time and effort, the crew finally makes their way up to what they have been looking for. The military camp that has a supposed cure to the virus. Pony and Willow help the Player out by getting rid of the unwanted infected, and successfully make their way through the base. If you're playing on the Savior Continuity, Pony pulls the Player aside to speak with them momentary. He then tells the Player the reason why he thought they were infected at the Carnival, was because when the Player and Doggy were sleeping in the forest, he gave them both the potion, also known as Substance-128. the Player acts as though they are hurt and confused, and lashes out on Pony. Although what seemed like a hopeless case, Georgie reminds the Player that they were the one that told him that he should forgive the ones that hurt him, because hurting them doesn't make him better then him. This reminds the Player that although it feels frustrating, that they shouldn't hold a grudge against Pony for his actions. Pony is relieved about the Player understanding, and that's when they make their way to the elevator. When they get to a lab-like floor, Pony tells the others to split up and look for a cure. This isn't until Willow and Tigry meet once more. They both get into an argument, which escalates to a physical fight between the two. This then leads to some explosives that Tigry left behind going off, causing the rubble to fall between the Player and Willow and Tigry, trapping the Player.

Enemies to Friends (Willow Savior Continuity)

Once the Player manages to escape with the cure and help Willow knock Tigry out, Pony, along with Willow and the Player, escape outside the Lab and Camp. However, Pony reveals he's infected, as he was attacked by an infected at the Docks. Willow, however, hands Pony the cure to save him. Pony takes the cure just as Mimi, Giraffy, Zee, Zuzy, and Georgie arrive. Willow explains that they found the cure, but it was crushed. Mimi toasts to a better future, before Georgie notices that Willow is gone.

Willow's Betrayal (Willow Survivor Continuity)

Once the Player manages to escape with the cure and help Willow knock Tigry out, Pony, along with Willow and the Player, escape outside the Lab and Camp. However, Pony reveals he's infected, as he was attacked by an infected at the Docks. As Pony gives his final words of thought, he allows the Player and Willow to leave with the cure to help Zizzy, while he stays behind to get infected.

Fate Worse Than Death (Tigry Savior Continuity)

Once the Player manages to escape with the cure and help Tigry knock Willow out, Pony, along with Tigry and the Player, walk off. However, as they were about to reach the elevator to the Lab, the ceiling collapses, trapping Tigry on the other side and blocking their way to the elevator. Pony reveals he was infected due to how he was attacked at the Docks. As he accepts his fate, the Player encounters TIO and walks towards him.

Pony's Demise (Tigry Survivor Continuity)

Once the Player manages to escape with the cure and help Tigry knock Willow out, Pony, along with Tigry and the Player, escape outside the Lab and Camp, with Tigry giving the cure the Player and parting ways. However, the Player gets scratched by an infected. Pony shoots the infected, but also reveals he's infected, as he was attacked by an infected earlier at the Docks. Pony allows the Player to use the cure to save him and is left behind outside the Camp to get infected.

Hunt for The Cure (Hidden Ending Continuity)

The Docks

Once The Medora docks successfully, Budgey gives the group one last goodbye, and initially the group leaves her. After managing to successfully avoid Markus, the crew finally gets up to the surface, where they are met with bombs.

After so much time and effort, the team finally makes their way up to what they have been looking for. The military camp that has a supposed cure to the virus. Pony and Willow help the Player out by getting rid of the unwanted infected and successfully make their way through the base. Pony pulls the Player aside to speak with them momentary. He then tells the Playerthe reason why he thought they were infected at the Carnival, was because when the Player and Doggy were sleeping in the forest, he gave them both the potion, also known as Substance-128. The Player acts as though they are hurt and confused and lashes out on Pony.

Getting the Cure

After the Player exits the lab with Willow and Tigry, Pony witnesses the helicopter called The Osprey land outside the camp, and then Sgt. Monroe starts to talk to them. Then, several infected appear out of the ground; Alfis, Kolie, Markus, Ben, Mary, Eloise, Porter and Elly. Pony then passes out and wakes up in a Distorted City, being attacked by his father, Peter. The Player then appears and give him a wooden sword to fend the hallucination off. After TIO is defeated, Pony thanks the Player, since TIO's been sending him to his mind many times but has never been as aggressive as he is now.

The Future

After TIO is defeated, the team goes to Kona's house; Zizzy is also there, cured. Pony talks about the increase of carrot prices, Zizzy suggests to grow a carrot farm, Pony then says the prices not might be that bad. The screen slowly moves outward, revealing a distorted portal. The screen fades, then goes back to the main menu, ending his story for now.

Personality

Player describes Pony as "a clumsy yet comforting ally" in their journal. Pony is not very outspoken and is seen to keep to himself, seen by how he complies with stealing a pie for William even though he tried to speak out at first. He was also forced to infect Doggy and the Player in the forest, and is very regretful of his actions and tries to make up for them. Pony cares very much for his family and friends. He looked up to his father and was planning to become an optometrist like him. In his journal, Pony writes that he misses his mother and father and is very sorry for his wrongful actions and wishes to correct them. He is shown to be very close to Zizzy in particular and makes it his goal to find a cure for her when she gets infected in the refinery. He even states that he can't look at Zee and Zuzy without thinking of Zizzy, and in Distraction he states that his photo of her kept him going throughout his hardships and that he won't stop until he reunites with her, showing just how strong their bond is.

Pony is self-aware of his actions and even though he is forced to do things he doesn't want to, he never likes doing them and wishes to make up for them. He tries to be as helpful as he can to The Safe Place as allies throughout the story. He doesn't like Willow, though he gives her another chance when she offers to help them get the cure in factory's ending and uses her gun to knock out the infected camp soldiers. In the Savior Continuity, he finally speaks up and admits to the Player that he was the one that infected them and Doggy. When the Player gets upset and yells at him, Pony begs for their forgiveness, and even though they don't forgive him, he's relieved that they stay friends. In the endings where he gets infected, he only thinks of others and thinks that he deserves what happened to him. When the cure is used on him in the Willow Savior Ending, however, he is very thankful for it. Pony is also willing to throw himself into risky situations while helping others. He is also shown to be very fond of carrots.
