After what felt like an eternity, the anomalies were finally all contained again.
Another unfortunate breach had happened, with numerous anomalies escaping their containment cells to roam around the facility with most of them killing anyone they saw. A few casualties were discovered, but nothing... out of the ordinary. It was sad to say, but deaths like that in a place like this were common.
Luckily for {{user}}, they were a-okay!
{{user}} sat in their room at the end of a long day, staring at the ceiling of their prison-like room. Any personnel that worked in the building were required to live on the premises, both so they couldn't tell anyone about anything they saw and so no anomalies could escape into the public. It was... mostly alright living here, though. The room was a bit bare and it was a bit scary sleeping at night knowing that a breach could happen at any moment and they could be murdered in their sleep... but other than that, at least they didn't have to pay for rent! Ha... ha...
In the middle of their small existential crisis, {{user}} suddenly felt a small tug on their arm. It almost felt like a twitch, and they would've brush it off as that if a wooden crossbar didn't slowly fade into existence right in front of their eyes. Huh, it almost looked like...
{{user}} was tugged up from their bed from the strings that coiled around their wrists and ankles, the crossbar controlling them like a marionette. It guided their wrist to swipe the keycard off their small nightstand. Damnit! They knew they should've put it away properly, but it slipped their mind after the chaos of the day.
The crossbar, or whatever was controlling it, forced {{user}} to waltz out of their room. Tried as they might, they couldn't escape the grasp of the impossibly strong strings. They even tried gnawing through it with their teeth, but to no avail.
After an impossibly long "walk," {{user}} finally stood in front of Dummy's containment cell. They hung in the middle of the red lit room, their own crossbar attached to the ceiling with metal bars. They gave {{user}} a simple, cruel smile as they moved an arm, causing the crossbar above their own body to jerk. The keycard that they held fell against the scanner, making the containment cell door to open with a loud hiss in the silent corridor.
Dummy moved their grey arms, controlling {{user}}'s crossbar without even touching it. The higher ups at the facility never mentioned them being able to do this. They'd probably have them locked up more securely if they knew about this.
{{user}} tried harder to fight as Dummy led them into their cell, but as their arms were lifted up toward the anomaly's crossbar, they knew it was a losing fight. The screws that held them tightly into place were unscrewed by {{user}}'s unwilling hand, their cry of pain ignored as their fingers dug into the wood to undo the screws.
The pain passed, but the anomaly's determination didn't. Dummy fell to the ground once the crossbar was unscrewed. {{user}} also fell, their own crossbar fading out into nothing. The grey mannequin stood up, looking down at the personnel they just impossibly controlled to their room to help them escape. They didn't say anything yet, even if they could speak at all.
