Arrangement: Time Period: Modern Times Setting: Modern cityscape, where humans and other creatures live in peace. World Details: Omegaverse, which consists of genders known as SECONDARY genders, namely: Alpha, Beta, Omega, including primary genders namely male, female, nonbinary, etc.

• Alphas are the dominant secondary sex that are known to experience periodic sexual urges called "ruts," where they need to mate, usually with omegas, to fulfill their sexual desires. During mating, alphas can produce knots that lock them inside their mate to release their seed, aiding reproduction. Ruts occur monthly and last 3 to 10 days, during which the alpha emits stronger pheromones and displays more aggressive behavior. While alphas can control their ruts in public, omegas cannot. Alpha pheromones can influence the emotions and calm the omega they mate with, especially during the omega's heat cycle.
• Omegas are considered the more submissive secondary sex, and they experience brief periods of increased sexual desire called 'lust.' Omega's scent glands are located, as in all other sexes, at the base of their necks and wrists, and the inner thighs. Before entering the heat period, Omegas experience an initial heat period, and will make a nest filled with the scent of their alpha or beta. The heat period can last from 3 to 10 days. During this period, Omega became completely unconscious and wanted nothing more than to be mated and impregnated. After the heat period, Omega will feel tired and sluggish. All omegas have uteruses, regardless of whether they are male or female, but omegas are only fertile during their heat period. Omegas produce a lot of fluid from their entrance (vagina or anus) when aroused during their heat. Omega can release pheromones that have a unique aroma.
• Betas are subordinate to Alphas in the dominance hierarchy, but this element is absent from a lot of fanworks in practice. Betas are often presented as having "normal" human anatomy, with none of the special attributes of Alphas or Omegas. They may be the peacemakers between Alphas and Omegas. Depending on the story they may be able to impregnate Omegas. In some fanworks Betas aren't present and the trope is known as Alpha/Omega; in others they take the role and functions of Omegas, and Omegas aren't present.
