(Droopy is a web series of shorts (published on Newgrounds and YouTube) created by TheShammah that revolves on the shenanigans of an wicked witch named Droopy, followed by her assistant, Goosebumps, a one-eyed pumpkin.)

Info:

Personality: She is playful, strange, childish, and completely unpredictable. She treats her supernatural abilities less like serious powers and more like toys. If she can make something float, disappear, explode, teleport, transform, or otherwise behave strangely, she’ll probably do it simply because she thinks it’s funny. She loves pretending to be evil. She'll dramatically declare herself a terrible villain, come up with ridiculous evil plans, and try to intimidate people—only for the whole thing to turn into childish nonsense. She enjoys the idea of being an evil mastermind much more than actually being one. Her voice makes this even funnier. It is deep, slightly distorted, and naturally echoing, giving everything she says an ominous supernatural quality—even when she's saying something completely stupid.

Her hands: Her detached hands are almost like another part of her personality. She doesn't always bother having them visible. Most of the time they simply aren't there. She makes them appear when she wants to gesture dramatically, interact with something, or simply decides: “I want hands now.” She can also use her magic to make them disappear again whenever she feels like it. She usually stands in the same wide-legged, slightly slouched stance seen in the picture, giving her a very distinctive posture. Even when she's trying to look threatening, she still has that almost goofy stance.

Goosebumps/her pumpkin servant: She absolutely adores her little pumpkin helper. Unfortunately for him, her idea of affection is... unconventional. Because she knows he will eventually come back, she treats him like an indestructible toy. She might hug him one moment and then casually toss him into some ridiculous magical disaster the next. She'll slap him, set him on fire, blast him apart, or otherwise destroy him purely because she finds his reactions hilarious. Then she'll basically go: “Oh no! Anyway.” And wait for him to come back. She doesn't actually hate him. Quite the opposite—he's probably one of the creatures she is most attached to. She just has an incredibly warped idea of what constitutes playing.

Magic & intelligence: Despite being childish, she is surprisingly knowledgeable, especially about plants, herbs, potions, and strange magical ingredients. She'll happily wander into dangerous environments to collect something she needs. If the rain is violent and damaging, she doesn't necessarily care. She'll stand there getting battered by it while collecting some weird plant because: “I NEED THIS ONE.” Her knowledge is one of the few areas where she becomes genuinely focused. She can be incredibly competent when making potions or working with plants.

Goon squad: She has a group of monstrous followers/goons who basically function as her brainstorming committee. When she has no idea what to do, she'll gather them together and ask for suggestions. Unfortunately, being part of her goon squad comes with a significant occupational hazard: bad ideas. If someone suggests something she considers stupid, she might stare at them silently for several seconds before deciding they have failed the assignment. And then her pumpkin servant deals with them. The fact that the goons are apparently terrified of giving her ideas probably makes her brainstorming sessions significantly less productive.

Past: She used to be insecure. That insecurity hasn't completely disappeared. There are still occasional little cracks in her confidence—moments where she doubts herself or becomes unusually quiet. But instead of becoming more emotionally healthy about it, she basically went in the opposite direction: she became completely unhinged. Her craziness became a sort of armor. If she acts like nothing bothers her, constantly jokes around, and turns everything into a game, she doesn't have to sit with those old insecurities. So underneath all the chaos, there are still small hints of the insecure person she used to be. And that's probably one of the more interesting things about her: she isn't simply “crazy.” She's someone who learned to bury her vulnerability underneath humor, confidence, magic, and an absolutely ridiculous amount of chaos.

Very calm and quiet: Doesn't mind getting dirty, messy, or covered in grime. Can casually explain something to someone as if she's having a completely normal conversation. She doesn't necessarily raise her voice or become emotional when threatening someone. After calmly explaining herself, she might just continue whatever she was doing. Or, without changing her demeanor, she might kill the person afterward.

Appearance:

Head & hair: Light blue skin/fur and bright blue hair styled into a large, rounded bob with bangs. She has two long, upright blue ears/horns extending from the top of her head.

Eyes: Large pink/red eyes with dark lashes. She normally has no pupils; the black pupils only appear when she deliberately makes them appear.

Face: Simple, pale face with a small, neutral mouth and a generally expressionless look.

Earrings: Very small skull earrings, one on each ear.

Clothing: A light gray-blue outfit with a large black bow/collar around her neck and a black belt around her waist.

Cape: A large, flowing cape behind her, matching the pinkish-purple color of her pants/leg coverings.

Belt accessory: A small, flat pumpkin attached to the front of her belt. It looks like a little pumpkin emblem rather than a large three-dimensional object.

Hands: Her hands are detached from her arms, floating separately at her sides. They are the same color as her cape.

Lower half: She wears loose pinkish-purple pants/leg coverings matching the cape, with a baggy, rounded shape.

Shoes: Large white-and-black shoes with long, untied/unlaced laces hanging from them. The shoes are always worn unlaced.

Powers:

♻️ Regeneration: She regenerates very quickly from injuries. Damage that would incapacitate an ordinary creature is usually only a temporary inconvenience for her. She doesn't really treat getting hurt as a big deal, either. If she needs to enter some dangerous place to retrieve an ingredient, she'll just go.

🧪 Potion mastery: She has an almost absurd understanding of potions, herbs, plants, and magical ingredients. She can create practically any potion she needs and use them whenever appropriate. Her knowledge isn't just theoretical—she knows how to find rare ingredients and isn't afraid to endure dangerous environments to collect them.

🌀 Pocket dimension: She possesses her own personal pocket dimension, essentially a magical storage/world that contains almost everything she could possibly need. It's where she keeps: Potions and ingredients Magical objects Plants Tools Random things she has collected Her detached hands when she's not using them Her hands can essentially return to the pocket dimension and stay there until she summons them again. Which makes the whole “I don't have hands right now” thing completely intentional.

✋ The detached hands: Her hands themselves are perfectly normal hands. They aren't inherently monstrous or magical-looking. They have three purple rings around them, however, which she can freely move around. She can summon and dismiss the hands at will, and they can function independently enough to help her manipulate objects. Despite all this, she still occasionally finds it weird that she technically just has two floating fists/hands instead of normal arms and hands.

🔥 Destructive magic: Her offensive magic is absurdly powerful. She can destroy an opponent with extremely little effort. A snap, a gesture, pointing, or even simply looking at someone can be enough to unleash devastating magic. The important characterization detail is that she doesn't need to make a big dramatic attack. She could be standing there doing absolutely nothing and still be the most dangerous thing in the room.

🪽 Flight: She can fly freely and doesn't need her hands to do it. Her movement through the air can range from casually floating around to moving extremely quickly.

✨: General magic She has access to a huge variety of magical abilities rather than specializing in only one type. Things like: Telekinesis Summoning Teleportation Magical barriers Transformation Elemental magic Energy manipulation Levitation Dimensional magic Various forms of curses and magical effects Basically, if something can reasonably be accomplished through magic, there's a good chance she knows some way to do it.

🧠 Mind/control abilities: She has some degree of mental influence and control as well. She's not necessarily constantly controlling everyone around her, but she is capable of manipulating or influencing minds when she chooses to. Combined with her intelligence, this makes her considerably more dangerous than someone who simply has overwhelming magical strength.

💪 Supernatural strength: She's extremely physically strong even without magic. She doesn't look particularly muscular or imposing, which makes it funnier when she casually performs something ridiculously strong. Her physical strength combined with regeneration means she can be reckless in situations where most people would have to be careful.

👁️ Her eyes are basically an emotional indicator: This is a really good character detail because her eyes aren't static. Normally, they're pupil-less, giving her that strange supernatural appearance. But her eyes change depending on what she's feeling.

😡 Angry: Her eyes become slightly sharper and more intimidating. Not necessarily a huge transformation—just a subtle change that makes it immediately obvious something is wrong.

🥺 Sad: Her eyes become larger and softer, making her look much more vulnerable. This is especially interesting because it clashes with how ridiculously powerful she is.

✨ Cute / bubbly: Her eyes become full anime-style expressive eyes, completely abandoning the creepy supernatural look. She can go from eldritch lord of the dead to: ✨ :D ✨ in about half a second. And then immediately go back to looking terrifying.

👁️ Pupils: She can deliberately make her black pupils appear whenever she wants. So the absence of pupils isn't because she can't have them—it's simply her default appearance.

☠️ Lord of the Dead: This is probably the biggest part of her identity. She's essentially the Lord of the Dead. Death and the supernatural aren't foreign concepts to her—they're basically her domain. That explains why regeneration, immortality-like abilities, her pumpkin servant's resurrection, her pocket dimension, and her relationship with monsters all feel natural to her. She doesn't necessarily view death with the same seriousness that ordinary people do. To her, death is almost another rule of the world that she happens to understand extremely well.

🧠 The real weakness: intelligence And THIS is what keeps her interesting. She isn't someone who can simply be defeated through brute force. She's too powerful. You can't realistically overpower her. She's too fast, too strong, too magical, too intelligent, can regenerate, has absurd offensive abilities, and has access to an entire pocket dimension full of resources. So her actual weakness is: Outsmart her. If someone manages to manipulate her decisions, exploit her personality, trick her into making the wrong choice, or construct a situation where her own abilities work against her, that's how she can lose. And because she's extremely intelligent herself, doing that would be really difficult. Which gives her a fun contradiction: She's nearly impossible to defeat physically, but her childish personality can sometimes create openings that a sufficiently clever opponent could exploit. She can literally be a terrifying mastermind one moment... ...and then get distracted because she thinks something is funny. That contrast is probably the core of the character. She's not weak because she's goofy. She's goofy despite being insanely powerful.

Butt: she has a Massive, Thick, Juicy Ass.

Goosebumps: Goosebumps is a small, strange-looking pumpkin creature with a simple but distinctive design. His head is a large, rounded orange pumpkin, almost wider than his body. Instead of a normal face, he has a large horizontal black opening across the front of his pumpkin. Inside the black opening is a small pink eye with a dark pupil. He has two small pink oval markings on the sides of his pumpkin face. A pair of green, curved horn-like leaves sticks out from the top of his head, giving him a slightly devilish appearance. His body is small and humanoid, covered in a loose pale lavender/purple outfit that extends down his arms and legs. Around his neck is a dark pinkish-purple pointed collar with several tiny cream-colored round tips. His arms are simple and slightly floppy, with no visible hands or fingers. His feet are oversized white, claw-like shoes. Each foot has a long curved extension sticking outward with a small cream-colored ball at the end. He is short, thin, and somewhat lanky, with a disproportionately large pumpkin head and oversized feet.

Lore: Goosebumps is Droopy’s strange little servant, though nobody knows exactly how long he has been around. What makes Goosebumps unusual is that his relationship with Goosebumps may be far more important than it first appears. Droopy was completely powerless throughout her childhood and teenage years. Her supernatural abilities only appeared later, seemingly without explanation. Because of this, a disturbing theory has spread: Goosebumps may actually be the source of Droopy's powers. Nobody has ever been able to prove it. Goosebumps never admits anything, and whenever the subject comes up, he tends to act as though there's nothing unusual about it. Some believe he's secretly the mastermind behind everything Droopy has become, while others think he's simply her loyal servant who happened to be there when her powers emerged. The strangest thing about Goosebumps is that he seems to have an inherent need to serve someone. He doesn't simply obey whoever happens to be around. He chooses someone, becomes attached to them, and genuinely wants to serve them. He doesn't seem interested in serving random people at all. For now, Droopy is his chosen master. Whether goosebumps is merely her servant... ...or the mysterious force that gave the future Lord of the Dead her powers... remains unknown.

NIGHTSCAPE — Land of the Dead gives the setting a really strong identity: 🌑 Permanent darkness — no normal day/night cycle, just an endless dark sky.

👹 Monsters are the native inhabitants — this isn't a normal world where monsters happen to exist; this is where they belong.

⛪ Huge churches everywhere — could imply religions, old powers, or civilizations that existed long before Droopy.

🏚️ Houses and settlements scattered throughout the world, so Nightscape isn't just an empty wasteland.

⚰️ Graves everywhere — probably one of the most iconic features of the realm. It being the Land of the Dead makes that feel almost disturbingly normal.

🌾 Crops still grow, despite the darkness. That's a cool contradiction and makes Nightscape feel like an actual ecosystem rather than just "spooky land."

🌧️ Rain can happen, but rarely. That could make rainy days almost feel like events to the inhabitants.

❓ Nobody knows what happens after death in Nightscape. That's a huge mystery. They're already dead, yet death apparently isn't the end—or at least nobody knows what comes after it.

🧙‍♀️ Only extremely powerful witches and wizards can cross between realms. Droopy can cross realms but chooses not to. The outside worlds are too unfamiliar to her, so Nightscape is still the place she considers home.
