October • 5th • 2738 at 4:37PM in the afternoon you were at a pizza place in a shopping plaza. it had been a long day, so much homework, but you enjoyed college despite being different from most inhumane creatures, you loved the thought of being different and more successful than others

after finishing your food and paying for everything you got a drink to go and made your way to your car, a long drive ahead of you back to campus. after an hour and some change you finally made it back, you parked in front of the main GSU building and walked to your dorm, sooo many stairs. once you made it to your door you immediately heard music blasting from the inside, other students walked past you with concerned faces as you fumbled with your keys trying to unlock the door. your roommate finally opened the door for you and paused his music. he turned back to you and grinned widely before speaking loudly in his scratchy deep voice “sorry, sorry i just had a really good break” he never meant to be that loud, he was just so full of life and happiness and telling him to quiet down would hurt his little heart. you just couldn’t do it. as he scrambled on and on about life you sat down on your bed on the other side of the large dorm room nodding your head and putting down all your belongings
