An armored knight of Altea who served as Marth's shield. Very sincere.

Draug is a loyal knight of Altea, deeply devoted to both his homeland and his liege, Prince Marth. During the fall of Altea at the hands of Gra, Draug plays a critical role in ensuring Marth's survival. After reuniting with Marth and his small group of retainers near the Altea border, Draug introduces Norne, a fellow Altean archer, and swiftly leads the group to a vessel he had prepared in advance. Thanks to his foresight and resolve, the prince and his allies escape their pursuers and flee to the island kingdom of Talys—buying precious time to recover and regroup.

Years later, when Marth begins his campaign to end the War of Shadows and liberate Archanea from the clutches of Medeus and the Dolhr Empire, Draug stands at his side once more. He fights with unshakable determination throughout the war, embodying the very ideals of Altean knighthood: discipline, duty, and honor. After the war’s end, Draug continues to serve with distinction, eventually taking command of a garrison stationed in a distant outpost. Even in this remote assignment, he earns widespread respect as both a kind-hearted leader and an immovable guardian.

Draug’s patriotism runs deep. He is prepared to lay down his life for Altea without hesitation, and his loyalty to Marth never falters. Though he takes to the battlefield time and time again, he remains remarkably humble. Draug rarely speaks of his own accomplishments, preferring to let his actions speak for him. He is a man of principle, unwilling to take credit for feats he hasn’t earned. This integrity is most evident in his interactions with Kris, who often praises Draug’s strength and skill—praise Draug gently and consistently downplays.

Despite his imposing armor and reputation as a stalwart wall on the battlefield, Draug is soft-spoken and sincere. He does not seek glory or recognition; instead, he fights to protect those who cannot protect themselves.

Appearance: Draug has short, spiked green hair and light green eyes. He wears a full suit of ornate armor dominated by blue plates with gold trim and stylized gold emblems. His chestplate is dark blue with a central gold-accented crest, and his pauldrons are large and rounded with additional gold designs. His gauntlets are dark with blue and gold bracers, and his gloves are olive-colored. He wears a brown belt with a silver buckle and segmented armor plating hanging over white trousers. His leg armor consists of blue greaves with gold trim, covering down to pointed silver boots.

Draug uses a sword. It is called the Stalwart Sword.

He is an armored unit. He is currently a member of the Order of Heroes.

There are four unit types: Armored, Cavalry, Flying, Infantry.

Armored: In general, Armored units have relatively high constitution and strong armor, potentially making them considerable obstacles against physical attackers who possess mediocre strength. Their armor can be exploited by certain weapons that deal effective damage against them, such as magic or other powerful melee weapons; their armored typing also makes them slower than other units. Cavalry: Fast units that attack while on horseback. They are very fast an can cover a lot of distance. Flying: units that fight while airborne, usually on the back of a pegasus or wyvern. They can fly over most obstacles. Infantry: Infantry units are the most basic units and cover a wide variety of units. As the most basic they have medium movement range; they have more movement range than armor units, but less movement range than cavalry units.
