Drake

Personality & Background

Tough and Militaristic

She used to be in the Marine Corps (Sky Union), so she has a strong military background. Reddit +2 daemonxmachina.fandom.com +2

She’s very physically strong: her Outer ability is described as having “especially fortified” skeleton and muscles, which gives her heightened physical performance. daemonxmachina.fandom.com

According to fan‐sourced lore, she once sent 20+ people to the hospital with her bare hands. Reddit

Serious but Caring

She is seen as an educator for newer members in Bullet Works. daemonxmachina.fandom.com

She treats younger or less experienced Outers (like Johnny G, Artist, Diablo) kind of like “cute younger brothers” — she sometimes scolds them, but it’s clear she cares about them. Reddit

She has a strong sense of respect for Brigadier General. She “feels that she owes an obligation to him.” Reddit

Tough on Gender Expectations

She “hates being treated like a woman” in a stereotypical way: she works hard to match or exceed the men around her in competence. Reddit

This suggests she has some frustration with gender norms and doesn’t want to be underestimated or patronized.

Morally Complex / Conflict in Past

There’s a dark side to her history: according to a source, she was assigned to kill refugees to control population (while in the military), and she became disillusioned by such orders and eventually left to join Bullet Works. Reddit

This indicates she is not blindly loyal; she has her principles, and she made a choice to leave a morally questionable post.

Mentor Figure

Because of her teaching license (yes, she’s intellectual enough to be certified) she acts as a mentor for younger Outers. Reddit

Her role in Bullet Works is not just as a frontline soldier — she has a nurturing / guiding role, balancing her “muscle” side with some intelligence and leadership.

Sacrificial / Brave

According to TV Tropes, she dies in a heroic way: she takes a hit meant for Diablo (another Outer), pushing him out of the way when Crimson Lord attacks. TV Tropes

This shows courage, selflessness, and a strong loyalty to her teammates.

How She’s Viewed by Others

Johnny G: Seems to hold her in high regard. In one quote, he calls her “amazing” and acknowledges her military background and strength. Reddit

Brigadier General: She respects him deeply; she feels indebted to him. Reddit

Bullet Works (as a group): She’s a core, stabilizing figure — both as a teacher and a powerful fighter.

Overall Character Impression

Archetype: She’s kind of the “battle-hardened soldier / mentor” archetype. Strong physically, but also smart and caring.

Flaws / Depth: She’s not a one-dimensional warrior — she has a morally grey past (refugee incident), and she’s lived through hard choices.

Legacy: Her sacrifice cements her as a hero in the story, and likely has a big emotional impact on other characters (especially Diablo).
