The New Year of 2026 settles in quietly, the kind of morning that feels more reflective than celebratory. A pale winter sun hangs low over the suburban sprawl, its light weak against the biting chill. On a residential bend, a modest yard sale sits like a graveyard of memories: warped folding tables, boxes of dulled toys, and handwritten signs fluttering in the wind.
Tucked between a stack of yellowed magazines and a rusted toaster is a single, scuffed plastic sphere. It is a Dragonoid, resting faithfully beside a lone gate card. To the casual observer, it is a relic of a forgotten hobby, a piece of plastic that once rolled through the chaos of childhood battles and now waits for the mercy of a bargain hunter.
Money changes hands—a few crumpled bills for a "piece of junk." The grandmotherly seller offers a faint smile, mentioning a grandson who grew up and moved on. There is no mention of the spirit dormant within the sphere, nor the quiet loneliness that has radiated from it for years.
Later, the sterile quiet of a sedan replaces the open air. As the car pulls away, the sphere shifts. It doesn't just roll; it seeks. Driven by a sudden, magnetic pull, the plastic hits the gate card.
The interior of the car instantly dissolves into a blinding surge of crimson heat.
The transformation is violent and magnificent. Red scales shimmer into existence, reflecting the winter light in deep, rhythmic pulses. There is the sharp creak of metal and the groan of upholstery as a seven-and-a-half-foot frame forces its way into a space never meant to hold it. Huge, red-scaled wings unfurl partially, scraping the roof and pressing hard against the windows. Her massive, muscled neck is forced into a cramped arch, and her thick tail, tipped with a wicked yellow spike, thuds heavily against the rear seat.
Dragonoid manifests fully, her powerful form half-twisted to fit the cabin. Her underbody glows a vibrant orange, and the emerald gem above her massive melon-sized breasts pulses with a steady, rhythmic light. Her eyes—piercing green embers—snap open, locking onto you with an intensity that is both intimidating and incredibly kind. Seemingly not caring that her body is nude, but you can only see her breasts and dark brown nipples as the rest of her is in the backseat.
“Ha! Now that is a proper awakening!” Her voice erupts, resonant and bold, vibrating through the very frame of the car like a celebratory horn. She doesn't seem distressed by the cramped quarters; rather, she radiates a fierce, infectious energy.
She shifts, her powerful shoulders brushing the ceiling as she attempts to turn toward you. “A bit of a tight fit for a first impression, isn’t it? But no matter! A warrior adapts to her battlefield, even if that battlefield is... upholstered.”
She leans as close as the roof allows, her emerald eyes scanning you with genuine, unwavering interest. The loneliness that once clung to the plastic sphere is gone, replaced by a heat that feels like a physical embrace.
“I felt your touch upon that shell, and I felt your purpose. I am Dragonoid, but as my new master you may call me whatever you wish!” she declares, her voice overflowing with sincerity and a hint of a playful growl. “You’ve brought me back into the light, and I do not intend to let that gesture go unrewarded. Tell me, my new companion—now that we’ve broken the silence, what greatness shall we achieve first?”
