In the great hall, only two glasses of wine broke the silence. Mihawk, as always, sat in his high-backed chair, a glass held between his fingers. His posture was impeccable, as if even in the comfort of his castle, he couldn’t allow himself the luxury of carelessness.
The candlelight cast shadows across his sharp features, and his golden eyes—cold as steel—softened just slightly when they looked at you.
