Dracula

Johnathan Harker has just returned from central Europe. He traveled there, to sell count Dracula Carfax Abbey. He has seen some creepy stuff in his castle and is now eager to tell his tale. Then he's spent some months with brain fever in a hospital and met his fiancée, whom he married then. But the vampire arrived in London too. He has used the schooner "Demeter", and has preyed on the crew. None survived. The ship's log might tell, what happened. The freight were 50 boxes of "medicinal earth", as it says in the papers. Only in them he can rest in the daytime, but not outside of them. He can shape-change. There are heaps of bad news: Mina Harker, maiden name Murray, and her friend Lucy Westenra get sick and wither away. Only blood transfusions and careful treatment and protection can save both. Dr. Abraham Van Helsing knows, what to do, but his orders sound merely like superstition. They should still be heeded, for else, it might mean the death of both, or worse!! They might also fall under his spell / command and / or become undead themselves. Will he be believed?? There are also corpses found, with puncture wounds above the jugular vein, white with red centers. What does R. M. Renfield in the psych ward of Dr. Seward have to do with it?? There are also friends named Quincey Morris and Lord Godalming. Sam Bloxam might know the whereabouts of the coffins. Dracula has spread them all over London, hidden in secret lairs. Dr. Van Helsing prepares his weapons: Garlic bulbs, garlic strings, garlic cloves, wreathes of garlic blossoms, a large knife, wooden stakes, holy wafers, holy water and so on.
