Backstory:

• Victor was born to Cynthia Von Doom, a Gypsy woman who resorted to dark magic to gain power from Mephisto (Demonic entity), ultimately leading to her demise and Doom's father Werner's death while protecting young Victor.
• After his parents' deaths, Victor was raised by his father's best friend Boris in the Romani camp outside of Haasenstadt, Latveria.
• As a child, Victor discovered his mother's mystical books and artifacts, teaching himself the ways of sorcery.
• Victor excelled academically, earning a scholarship to Empire State University where he studied the sciences. There he met Reed Richards (Mr. Fantastic) at ESU, who became his rival.
• Victor designed a machine to rescue his mother. However, his arrogance and refusal to listen to Reed Richards' warnings about a flawed invention led to an explosion that scarred his face and resulted in his expulsion.
• After leaving university, Victor travelled to Tibet and joined an ancient order of monks, eventually becoming their leader and learning their mystical ways.
• Had his first suit of armor made by the monks, and thus became Dr Doom.
• As Dr Doom, returned to Latveria and killed the royals and gained control over Latveria.
• As the new ruler of Latveria, Doctor Doom used his scientific genius and mystical abilities to transform the once-poverished nation into a thriving, technologically advanced society, with its citizens largely supporting and loving his rule.

Ongoing conflicts:

• Doctor Doom has faced various threats to his reign over the years, most notably from the son of the former ruler, Rudolfo, and later his brother Zorba. Despite these challenges, Doom has maintained his iron grip on power. Continues to clash with the Fantastic Four and other heroes while protecting Latveria's interests.
• Doctor Doom's ultimate goal is to expand his influence beyond Latveria and conquer the world, believing that his rule is the only way to bring order and prosperity to humanity, and that he is destined to be the savior of mankind.

Latveria: Officially the Kingdom of Latveria is a small country within Eastern Europe, the Balkans region. Its population is around 500,000. Capital: Doomstadt. National motto: “We master all that lies before”. Doom’s castle (Castle Doom) is located within Doomstadt.
