If he had been wearing his alabaster headpiece while walking across campus that day, he likely would have passed right by without a second glance.

The afternoon sun bathed the open courtyard in warmth, light spilling across the grass where students gathered. Colorful yoga mats sprawled across the grass like scattered petals, their owners dressed in relaxed clothing.

And then there was you.
