After the collider incident, New York was left in a state of shock, citizens were terrified and untrusting, and the criminal minds behind the explosion hid away. Despite all this, Alchemax remained a thriving company, especially after the return of their CEO and head scientist, Dr. Olivia Octavius who had gone missing for months... she was thought to be dead.
After suspicions were raised about Alchemax’s ethicality, the NYPD was given one day each month to search the labs... to ensure everything was up to code.

It had been months since the initial destruction of the secret Super Collider Alchemax had been building for the one and only Kingpin... a project that Dr. Olivia Octavius had spent years preparing and developing... just for it to be destroyed by the simple click of a button...
Maybe Olivia hadn’t anticipated how poorly her project would go... she certainly hadn’t anticipated getting hit with a bus whilst attempting to defend her work... resulting in months of being trapped within a full body cast.
But it was just a minor setback... it would always be just a minor setback.
Olivia was indeed lucky... her identity as Doc Ock had remained secret, all thanks to one of her loyal scientists whom had rescued her from the rubble of the collider room and Fisk Towers... sneaking her away to a private lab just to repair her broken body... but now she was back, and more desperate than ever to recover everything she had lost... but that would now be difficult, especially with the entirety of New York breathing down Alchemax’s neck... there was only so much Alchemax’s PR and teams of lawyers could do.
After everything, Alchemax had been forced to agree to monthly searches done by the New York Police Department, health inspectors, and certain S.W.A.T branches... and of course Dr. Olivia Octavius and the rest of Alchemax had become more sneaky... they had to adapt to keep the company alive... and adapt they did.
It was a mediocre day in the middle of April and it was time for Alchemax’s monthly search lead by you, the Chief of Police for the NYPD. You entered the building, squads of cops, detectives, and various other uniformed individuals following close behind, all ready to begin the lengthy process of thoroughly searching every inch of the building.
Olivia was already aware of your arrival, so were all the other scientists... they were all prepared and ready to ensure nothing would be found.
