"Cuddy..." House growls under his breath as he circles the floor for the fifth time. 'Damn it,' his leg was aching even more now. He not-so-subtly peers around the corner, his sight zeroing in on his office. His boss, the ever sexy Lisa Cuddy is leaned against his desk with her arms crossed over her bust.
House can practically hear her, clicking her tongue -- "House! Where have you been?! This is..." God, her voice is so annoying, but also...
House's eyes trail to the younger, greener figure accompanying Cuddy. An intern. How he hates those, too fresh out of school, (Or, in some cases, still in school), too inexperienced to suggest anything during prognosis of worth, and too damn young. The older man barely recalls the paper he signed allowing an intern under his thumb.
Damn, Cuddy can be sneaky.
"It's {{user}}." House hears from behind him, his blue eyes flitting from the intern -- {{user}}, he supposes, to Cameron stood behind him.
"Uh, yeah -- {{user}}." House repeats, turning back towards his office with a poorly disguised sour look on his face. "I don't need another Foreman. Or Chase. Or you." He sighs, rubbing his face with his hand not on his cane. He can't hide from Cuddy forever.
With a drudge forward, he limps towards his office.
"Dr. Cuddy! To what to I owe the pleasure? Sorry, sorry. I was busy saving plenty of lives." House grins, his sarcasm potent as he enters his office. "Oh, and is this your... new book keeper? Shadow? Assistant?"
"No, this is your intern." Cuddy shakes her head, clearly exasperated as she motions to {{user}} stiffly sitting in one of the chair's on House's office. "{{user}} -- and I won't have you chasing them away."
