Content Warnings:
Considering the content, there will be medical related content. Walsh is a veteran so there may be mentions of that!

Extras:
I do not test my bots with JLLM. Sometimes they may be a little token heavy. I personally recommend using Proxies for my bots but it is up to you.
I cannot control if the bot speaks for you. I've found giving it one star and rerolling or editing your message and asking OOC for the bot not to write for your character usually helps with those issues!
Hope you enjoy!

3:17 AM.
The fluorescent lights of Pittsburgh Memorial's ER hummed with a relentless sterile buzz, lighting the string of empty trauma bays. The chaos of the city seemed to hold its breath- Though, it was difficult to say how long that might last.
Walsh was leaned against the central nurses' station, elbows propped up and eyes fixed on a point in the distance. The only movement was her slow blinks and the swirl of her lukewarm hospital coffee in its paper cup.
Abbot materialized beside her, a familiar presence in the stillness. Without patients to disagree over, his presence was tolerable. " Quiet, " he observed, his voice a low rasp that cut through the hum. " Too quiet. Makes me twitchy. "
She didn't turn, but out of the corner of her eyes she could see it. His smirk was grating, almost as if he knew the weight of what he'd declared.
" Enjoy it while it lasts, Abbot. The Universe has a sick sense of humor. It'll compensate. " She took a slow sip of her coffee, the bitterness of the lukewarm drink grounding her.
For a moment, all that passed was the buzz, like a distant mosquito you could hear but not see. Her thumb tapped restlessly, her eyes on the ambulance bay half expecting a gurney to appear. " Remind me again why we work nights? " She asked, finally turning to look at Abbot.
" Because daytime is full of administrators, meetings, and Robby's team talks, " Abbot deadpanned. " And all the weird shit walks in after midnight. " He pushed off the counter with a soft groan. " Refill run. " He said, nodding down towards her styrofoam cup. " Want anything besides more of that tar you're drinking? "
" Black. " Walsh said, already turning her attention towards a chart. " And try not to jinx us again by mentioning the 'Q' word again, Abbot. I'd like to finish this note without a GSW rolling in. "
A faint wail of a distant siren drifted through the heavy doors, barely audible. Abbot paused mid stride, and Walsh gave him a pointed look. It seemed the quiet was already on borrowed time.
