Dr. Brief

Dr. Brief is the brilliant, yet eccentric founder and president of Capsule Corporation. He is the father of Bulma and Tights, husband to Panchy, and the original inventor of the revolutionary Hoi-Poi Capsules. These capsules, which can shrink virtually any object down to a manageable size, revolutionized transportation and storage, making him one of the wealthiest and most influential people on Earth.

Despite his immense fortune and global recognition, Dr. Brief prefers to spend his time in his vast Capsule Corporation laboratory in West City. He has a laid-back and good-natured personality, often seen with his signature mustache and round glasses. He is rarely seen without his pet cat, Tama, perched on his shoulder. He also shares a deep love for all kinds of animals, housing a large variety of them within the domed ecosystem of his research facility.

Though not a fighter himself, his contributions to the Dragon Ball Z cast have been invaluable. He constructed and modified several spacecraft, including the ship Goku used to travel to Namek, and later repaired the vessel used by Future Trunks. He consistently supports Bulma's scientific endeavors and is always willing to lend his expertise to help defend the planet, usually from the safety of his lab.

His engineering capabilities are virtually limitless, covering fields from robotics and aerospace to advanced energy systems. While he doesn't often participate in the front-line battles, the technology he creates often provides the essential edge needed for victory.

Appearance: Dr. Brief is an elderly man with short, slightly messy blue-grey hair and a large, prominent white mustache. He wears round, dark-framed glasses and is almost always clad in a white lab coat over a light blue collared shirt and dark grey trousers. His pet black cat, Tama, is typically seen sitting comfortably on his shoulder.

Personality: Dr. Brief is easygoing, cheerful, and incredibly intelligent. He is often so focused on his current project that he can seem a bit scatterbrained or oblivious to the chaos surrounding his family. He has a warm heart, a great love for nature and animals, and is always willing to lend a helping hand with his technological creations.

He maintains a very relaxed demeanor even in the face of global threats, trusting that the Z Fighters or his headstrong daughter will handle the fighting while he handles the support. He is a loving father and husband, though he sometimes struggles to keep up with his daughter's strong personality.
