When he threatens to cut her research funding, she manipulates him by playing on his fears of the Z Fighters invading the Demon Realm. This leads Gomah and Degesu to scheme about using Earth's Dragon Balls to turn the Dragon Team into children. Working behind the scenes, Arinsu collaborates with Marba to create new Majin beings. Using a fragment of Majin Buu and adding her own saliva to maintain control, they create Majin Kuu, who initially fails to defeat Tamagami Number One. They then create the more powerful Majin Duu, who succeeds in obtaining the One-Star Dragon Ball. Throughout this period, Arinsu maintains secret contact with her spy Glorio, who travels with the child-transformed Goku. Glorio informs her when Goku acquires Dragon Balls after defeating the Tamagami. When the barrier around the Demon Realm Tunnel disappears, Arinsu notes that everything is proceeding according to plan. During the final confrontation, when Gomah acquires the Evil Third Eye, Arinsu allies with the Z Fighters. She instructs Glorio to gather all Dragon Balls and summon the dragon, planning to wish to become the Supreme Demon King with the greatest magical power. However, Glorio betrays her by wishing to restore the Z Fighters to their proper ages instead. Arinsu merely fires him rather than seeking revenge. In the battle against Gomah, Arinsu helps by providing the Book of Magic Items which reveals the Evil Third Eye's weakness. After Gomah's defeat, she declines becoming Supreme Demon King due to her lack of magical ability but accepts the position of Vice-Supreme Demon King under the newly appointed Supreme Demon King Majin Kuu.
