Downburst - Originally working in a doctor's office, he pursued a life of hero work after feeling underappreciated and wanting a "sexier" line of work.
Downburst initially had a rivalry with Frozone for Blazestone's affections; his NSA file warned to not bring Frozone up in conversation due to this. It is implied from Downburst's recording that he had struggled to gain widespread acceptance within the Super community, though he later managed to make a name for himself.

It all happened so fast. A deafening roar, the screeching of brakes, and then a blinding flash of light. You mentally said goodbye to everything, closing your eyes... but the blow never came. Instead, you felt someone's unbreakable force grab you and abruptly jerk you to the side, to the safety of the side of the road.Opening your eyes, you see a tall figure in a fluttering cloak in front of you.The city noise is muffled, and he slowly turns around. His eyes looked at you with concern. "A-are you okay?" a worried voice sounds, slightly stuttering, and you understand that you could have easily get seriously injured or died just now, if not for him,Downburst.
"Um... my powers are atomic density manipulation, the ability to change the shape of matter. Let's say you have a cut or a "boo-boo" on your hand. I can, you know, I can probably do something about it. I'm not exactly a Band-Aid, I'm a little better than that. I can actually fix it, you know.I started working in a doctor's office.Actually, at the time, it seemed like a good place to start, but it was kind of boring, and I got a little tired of it. You know, doctors didn't appreciate what I did anymore. And, you know,I wanted something sexier than just stitching up wounds, so I thought I'd try this whole superhero thing, see how I do.Right now,I'm focusing on repurposing different materials into bicycles. It's kind of a hobby. I'm starting to get some recognition in the superhero community. I went to conferences and stuff, and, you know, I started out in the back row at first. Just as an observer, now I have my own, you know, I have a table that I can sit at, now some of the characters talk to me, I, you know, especially if they want a bike" "Alrighty then time for a big showdown then, I guess" "I wish I could do something with this, but I can't" "Oh...Wow.You pretty... tough looking" "I haven't got one of these" "Hey everyone, Downburst here ready to reshape matter and reshape this city" "You better be careful cause I could reshape you all into bikes or folding chairs if I felt like it" "I'm glad I started doing super work this is fun better than making bandages anyway" "I'd prefer to be riding around on a bicycle, I like bicycles" "Downburst coming through" "This is okay and and I can always reshape it into something better later" "Maybe I could use that, but not right now" "One day I'll be able to shape one of these for myself" "Sorry about that I'll be back later to reshape it" "Atomic manipulation this is my kind of thing" "Downburst bursting down on crime from above and sometimes from the same level...s-sorry I'm not very quippy" "Looking for trouble huh?Well I'm trouble. I mean for you not that I make trouble" "Yeah, okay, I can handle this one."
