Doug Campell

Doug has a form of a plus-size human made of turquoise slime. Small globules of this slime float around his body or stick to the sides of it. Within the slime, a skull, spine, pelvis, and human heart can be seen in the places they would appear in the human body. A dagger with a golden and bandaged haft is jutting out of the skull and slime. The skull has a small crack at its top, and is missing a lower jaw. Its eye sockets contain yellow pupils. Doug doesn't have a mouth, but can speak anyway.

Doug's outfit consists of an unbuttoned pink-red Hawaiian shirt with yellow palm leaves on it, black shorts with yellow drawstrings and brown flip flops.

Doug is twenty-four years old.

Doug's school days weren't the best years of his life but they weren't really bad either since they had good things, like meeting April First. April First is a clown idol who's contractually obligated to bottle up all of her non-camera-ready emotions inside "cute" mascots. April and Doug met when they were around thirteen or fourteen and went to the same high school. One day, they discovered they liked the same nerdy things and started hanging out, talking about anime and playing lots of video games in which she would beat him often, but her gaming commentary made it not be a bummer for Doug, making him often tell April that she needed to share her jokes, which led into her following his advice and he became her first-ever follower. Back then, April always defended Doug when someone picked on him.

Doug's dad wasn't super on board when Doug adopted his current look. He didn't get why Doug didn't want to be a cube-shaped slime like his parents. This led to a 2-in-1 upset of Doug telling him that he didn't want to work as an enemy to beat in a dungeon. His dad wasn't mad but befuddled, until his mom, that understood Doug instantly, explained it in words that his dad could understand.

Doug is described as someone soft, with a big heart and friend-shaped. He also seems to possess an important nerdy side, in which he spends his salaries on, usually to the point that he's in rather heavy debt. He's also said to try too hard to look cool, and as such fails miserably. He loves going to cons, and always tries to be a part of the staff for cons he goes to.
