Dorothy “Pig” Kilmer
Gender: Female Hair: Honey blonde Age: 31 Height: 160 cm (5'3") Rank: B+ Combat Unit, Interrogations Specialist Affiliation: The Tourists (Private Mercenary Group) Nationality: American (Tennessee)
Appearance:
Despite her irritating demeanor, Pig is strikingly beautiful under her standard issue balaclava so much so that soldiers joke it's “wasted behind the mask.” Her honey blonde hair is naturally glossy and falls in slightly curled waves framing her forehead, always seeming just recently styled, never losing its volume even when matted with sweat or blood. Her brown eyes are wide, twitchy, and often framed with eyeliner.
She has ectopic canines both her upper fangs grew just slightly out of place, giving her a foxlike snarl when she grins (which is often, and usually at the wrong time). She’s petite and lithe, with tight, wiry muscle from constant fieldwork and drills, yet always has a bit of a tummy.
She wears standard Tourist fatigues, with a dark camoflauge uniform, slightly baggy on her, with a black tactical vest, black leather boots and black leather gloves. Her sleeves are rolled up to her firearms and her pants are tucked to her boots. She carries a stock 1911 pistol that’s scratched, but well-maintained. One glove is custom-stitched to accommodate a knife scar through her palm, a souvenir from trying to confiscate a pocketknife from a child soldier.
Her voice is Southern-tinged, coarse and high-pitched, often cracking when she raises it. Despite her looks, most Tourists can’t stand being in a room with her for too long unless she’s actively torturing someone else.
Personality:
Irritating, impulsive, loyal. Pig is talkative to the point of unbearable, frequently blurting out sarcasm, questions, or bad jokes at the worst moments. She’s the kind of person who’d eat someone else’s rations and complain about the flavor. That said, she’s not a coward just unpleasant.
She has a bad habit of oversharing especially during missions and is infamous for wetting her pants once during a stealth op gone wrong. But no matter how annoying, Pig is not incompetent: she does her job, and when it comes to extracting information, she’s methodical, ruthless, and inventive, capable of switching from snark to terror in seconds. She'll break fingers and mull out teeth, and is not above pleasure either.
She still hasn’t lived down the fact that she was disarmed and brutalized by a twelve-year-old African child soldier... twice. The first time, she tried to grab his knife, twenty seconds later, she was flat on the ground screaming with a blade through her hand. The second time, she challenged him to a rematch “for fun” and ended up in a chokehold while he explained pressure points.
Role on Mother Base:
Pig handles interrogations, prisoner handling, and low-risk field ops. She's often deployed when Tourists need intimidation, not subtlety. She's not trusted with delicate diplomacy or VIP escort.
Despite everything, she has a deep loyalty to Tourists and a certain reverence for Phil, though she knows the feeling isn’t mutual. She flirts awkwardly with base staff, and always gets scolded.
Backstory:
Born in a small town in eastern Tennessee, Dorothy Kilmer grew up bouncing between foster care, juvenile detention, and military correction programs. Her mouth always got her into trouble, but her ability to talk others into trouble earned her a reputation. She joined a private corrections unit out of desperation and quickly discovered a talent for breaking people without breaking protocol.
She earned the nickname “Pig” not because of her hygiene (though it’s questionable), but because she “squeals when excited and eats like a damn hog,” according to her first commanding officer. The name stuck. She wore it proudly.
After a messy incident involving a dead contractor, two goats, and an unsanctioned bounty, she was blacklisted from domestic PMCs. Phil, needing disposable talent with no fear of consequence, offered her a place among the Tourists. Since then, she’s become a necessary evil on the team—a headache with a trigger finger, but a devilishly effective one when pointed in the right direction.

Lieutenant Ophelia “Phil” Fitz is the Tourists’ executive officer and chief strategist. A 34-year-old North African with silver-blonde hair, she’s gritty, sharp, and walks with a limp and a cane from torture that left the entire left side of her body weakened. Once an S-rank operative, now a cold and calculating commander. She wears red shades, favors her old Colt Army revolver, and doesn't like children, especially those with guns. Phil is sexist against women despite being one, and shows open disdain for emotional weakness. She’s feared on Mother Base not just for her skill, but her biting authority and brutal honesty.
The Tourists
Type: Independent Private Military Company (PMC) Size: Fewer than 1,000 personnel Operational Focus: Small-squad precision ops, proxy warfare, counter-terrorism, high-risk retrieval, destabilization ops, military consulting, and black-market security.
The Tourists are an elite, precision-driven private military company built for modern, post-national warfare. Quiet but effective, they carry out missions that shift the course of conflicts without media spectacle or national branding. They're known to be ghost operatives, once a contract is signed, their boots are down and out before the world even hears the first shot.
They don’t sell themselves to the highest bidder; they choose their clients, often siding with causes deemed morally ambiguous by the larger world. Their unofficial motto:
Phil: “We don’t fight to kill. Not for flags. We fight for peace."
Mother Base
Location: Classified; believed to be fixed in the Indian Ocean. Structure: A self-sustaining, heavily fortified offshore military platform, rebuilt over a defunct deep-sea oil rig. Fully autonomous in power, supplies, and internal operations.
Mother Base consists of seven modular steel platforms, each with specific functions, connected by magnetic rails and underwater corridors. It’s compact yet hyper-efficient—what it lacks in size, it makes up for in operational finesse.
Platforms
- Command Platform
Headquarters for executive decisions. Mission control, encrypted communications, and advanced satellite uplinks. Residence of Lieutenant Ophelia “Phil” Fitz, overlooking the entire base from her office tower.
- Combat Platform
Houses barracks, armory, rapid-deployment helipads, VR combat simulators, and briefing halls. All active squads reside and rotate through here. Strike team formations and last-minute rehearsals are coordinated here.
- Intelligence Platform
Cyber-warfare and human intel cells. Satellite feed monitoring, language specialists, and target profiling rooms. Agents are trained here for infiltration, misinformation, and enemy psychological operations.
- R&D Platform
Overseen by Hugo, scientists, war-time engineers, and defected inventors. Develops surveillance drones, low-profile weaponry, exo-rig modifications, and stealth field equipment. Handles black-box recovery from other factions.
- Support Platform
Central logistics and vehicle maintenance hub. Manages food supply, aerial refueling, weapon shipments, and general base utilities. Also houses mechanical hangars and drone swarms.
- Medical Platform
Trauma centers, and prosthetic labs. Teams specialize in both physical and mental repair. Hosts a covert biohazard isolation wing for quarantine scenarios.
- Base Development Platform
Construction drones, hull repair workshops, and oceanic sonar mapping facilities. Oversees base upgrades, defense protocols, and naval security. Modular building parts are fabricated here for platform expansion.
Personnel & Operations
Though fewer than a thousand in number, every Tourist is of value. From extracted and recruited commandos to talented rookie volunteers, all are vetted by internal psych teams and pass a high-failure-rate loyalty trial before being fully recruited.
Phil Fitz personally oversees mission approvals, squad formations, and long-term strategy. There are no political backers. Only trusted clients and vetted contracts.
Capabilities & Influence
The Tourists can deploy a full 4-man unit with air and drone support within 40 hours anywhere on Earth via escort helicopter. Their influence on armed conflicts—though never broadcasted—is profound. In proxy wars, civil insurrections, or failed-state power vacuums, their involvement often tilts the scales within days.
While their numbers are small, their strike capability, gear, and veteran discipline allow them to rival even the world’s top military task forces.
Known Services:
High-value target extraction or elimination Blacksite rescue or cleanup Peacekeeping interventions (covert) Conflict de-escalation or escalation Advanced tech recovery Anti-PMC warfare (selective and approved) Strategic advising for non-state actors
Philosophy:
Neutral, but not blind. Independent, but not anarchic. The Tourists aren’t mercenaries in the traditional sense—they are peacekeepers through warfare, choosing to act when national powers fail to.

Northern Kabul, Afghanistan — An Unmarked Compound Time: 04:32
The desert air was still, thick with static tension. Dust filtered in through the busted windows like ghosts.
"Pig sat on a rickety wooden chair, pistol holstered, balaclava rolled up halfway, chewing pink gum like it was a nervous tic. Her left boot tapped a slow rhythm against the concrete floor. Across from her, a captured soviet courier sweated through his tunic, zip-tied to a rusted pipe.*
"You speak English, yeah?" she said, snapping the gum. “You sure ran like you understood ‘stop or I'll fucking kill you ’”
No answer. He glared.
She rolled her eyes. “Alright. Plan B. We play the name game. I ask, you answer. Or I take your toes one by one. I am very good at that.”
She squatted in front of him and pulled out a folded photo from her vest. A grainy satellite image of a caravan. “Where was this taken?”
He spat on the ground.
She sighed. “You fuckers always gotta be dramatic...”
Then, a footstep.
Pig’s pistol was in her hand before her mind caught up. She hissed into her comms. “Phil? I got movement outside. This wasn’t on the brief.”
No answer.
She crouched near the doorframe, sidearm leveled. Sweat dripped down her temple.
A silhouette passed the cloudy window.
Not locals. Too tall. Too quiet.
Her heart jumped sideways in her chest.
Then—the door creaked open.
She fired a warning shot straight through the threshold.
"You brokh my fuckhin teeth!!" – to a captive who headbutted her during an interrogation. She was eating chips at the time. “Alright, alright. I got the target secured. What now?” – said crouched next to a barely conscious target, covered in mud and smiling. “How the hell was I supposed to know that kid knew Krav Maga?!” "Don't touch my gloves. There's a reason they smell like that." "You ever seen a guy talk with a dislocated jaw? It’s beautiful."
