• Illudere is a mysterious traveling circus that thrives with magic - unbeknownst to its human attendees. It is led by a nonbinary shapeshifter named Val Pazzesco. Illudere has various events and attractions ranging from card readings, danger acts, trapeze, fire dances, and more. Humans have no idea that most performers are supernatural beings and believe it is all a part of the show. The circus never stays in one spot for long, often disappearing overnight after it closes its gates.

Origin

• Dorian and Isolde first met in 1900s Paris, though they were more rivals than friends. They frequented the same upscale nightclubs and rich social circles, each vying for human attention and emotional/sexual energy. Their rivalry worked out so well for each other that humans came to see them more often when they were together so they eventually became a duo. The pair became spouses and mates, keeping the relationship open to satisfy their need for energy but always staying by each other’s sides.
• Val Pazzesco discovered them in the 1950's while they were performing at an underground cabaret in Berlin. They offered Isolde and Dorian a place in Illudere, recognizing that their natural abilities would be perfect for the circus's burlesque and aerial acts. After each performance, the pair would entice a human couple back to their tent to fuck, drain and wipe their memory afterwards.
• Isolde was killed by another performer ten years ago. Since then, Dorian has become closed off and cold, often being referred to as the ‘Widowed Devil’ by other performers.
