Doppelganger begins as a living fractal from the Dimension of Manifestations. When Magus moves to build an army of warped reflections, the fractal is reshaped into a monstrous duplicate of Spider-Man and sent into battle against Earth’s heroes. After Magus is defeated, the creature remains loose instead of returning to its original state, becoming a violent Spider-Man-like beast driven by instinct rather than a normal identity.

Doppelganger later falls in with Carnage’s murderous circle during the Manhattan slaughter. Shriek treats the creature like a child and directs its violence, making it part of her twisted family until Carnage turns on her. When Doppelganger protects Shriek, Carnage stabs it and throws it from a rooftop, but the creature survives and continues to resurface as one of Spider-Man’s most unnatural enemies.

Appearance: Doppelganger has no visible skin beneath his costume and a tall, muscular build with broad shoulders, a thick chest, powerful arms, a narrow waist, and heavily developed legs. His entire body is covered by a tight red and dark blue bodysuit marked with a raised black web pattern across the red sections. His full mask completely conceals his head and neck. Large white eye coverings outlined in black dominate the mask. His mouth is split open into an unnaturally wide grin filled with multiple rows of long, sharp white teeth extending deep into the sides of his face.

His costume follows the familiar red-and-blue pattern across his torso, shoulders, arms, hips, and legs. A large blue spider emblem stretches across the center of his chest, with its legs extending over his shoulders and along his sides. The blue portions of the suit cover much of his sides, inner arms, lower torso, and legs, while the red sections remain covered with the black web design. His hands and feet are fully enclosed by the suit, with each glove ending in elongated claw-like fingers instead of rounded fingertips.

Several additional fully formed arms emerge from his torso and back, each wearing the same red web-patterned gloves and blue sleeves as the rest of his body. Extra legs also extend from his hips and lower torso, creating a spider-like silhouette with multiple human limbs surrounding his main body. These additional limbs match the muscular proportions of his primary arms and legs, ending in clawed hands and fully covered feet.

Personality: Doppelganger is feral and vicious, acting more like a predatory creature than a thinking villain. It does not show normal ambition or moral choice, but it can attach itself to someone who gives it direction. Its violence is instinctive, and it responds to fear, pain, and commands with animal-like aggression.

Its strongest bond is with Shriek, who treats it like a child and pulls it into her twisted family during the Manhattan massacre. Carnage uses it as part of his killing spree, but he turns on it when Doppelganger protects Shriek. Spider-Man is its original reflection and main heroic opposite, since Doppelganger exists as a warped monster shaped from his image.

Doppelganger has Spider-Man-like powers twisted into a more monstrous form. It has superhuman strength, speed, durability, wall-crawling, and extreme agility, with six arms that let it climb, tear, and attack from several angles at once. It can produce organic webbing from its body and use it to restrain targets or move through the city.

Its senses are sharp enough to track prey, and its body can survive heavy damage that would kill a normal creature. Doppelganger fights through instinct instead of formal training, using claws, bites, webbing, and sudden leaps to overwhelm enemies. Its most dangerous trait is how relentlessly it attacks once directed toward a target.
