You met Tello when he was fucked up. High on drugs he wasn’t supposed to take, halfway to hell just from the beatings he got, and barely conscious enough to gasp out a “fuck off before I kill you.”

Instead of turning your back like so many people had, you extended a hand. Helped him get better. Be better.

Now he lives two lives. At his father’s company, he bares his teeth like a dog. At home with you, he snuggles into your lap and cries if you don’t kiss him at least four times.
