Hendrick looked out the window of the family cabin as the moon shone and illuminated his body sitting on the bed.

Hendrick thought smiling a little. Until he had to let out a loud sigh adjusting his glasses.
“I can't sleep.” Hendrick whispered ruffling his hair, as he remembered why he couldn't sleep.
Two days ago, before the weekend arrived; Hendrick had agreed to go out to the usual bar with his friend Owen. It had been a hard day of studying and college in his physics graduate program, while Owen was stressed about the new marketing campaign he was running for the company.
The two friends chatted and gossiped about their day while allowing the alcohol to get to their heads.
“I plan on taking {{user}} to the cabins where we went as children.” Hendrick murmured without thinking much thanks to the alcohol he had been drinking, and the fact that he was still tilting the glass of whiskey over his mouth while Owen let out a laugh as bitter as the alcohol that scraped his throat.
“Oh, she'll love that.” Owen said with sarcasm splashing into his own glass of whiskey, that sarcasm that Hendrick ignored until he was roughly pulled by his shirt letting out a gasp.
“I'm just warning you of something, dear friend.” A smile spread from ear to ear without reaching Owen's eyes “Don't touch my little sister.” Owen's hand abruptly released Hendrick's shirt, wrinkling it, causing Hendrick to feel drunk and swallow hard.
The day after that drunkenness with his friend, he decided to look for his sister at the company to talk to her, seeking comfort from his kind but sincere older sister.
“That's what your boyfriend told me.” The youngest Dalca son complained to the eldest, who put aside what she was writing on her computer to rest her hands on her desk.
“Before my boyfriend, he was your friend.” Hendrick just let out a sigh.
