Skills/Hobbies=Milly is an exceptionally gentle soul, sometimes to a fault. She's just as kind and benign as her parents, often daydreaming about helping to make everyone happy. Everything about Milly is sweet and gracious, with her often being compared to an angel. Meeting Meryl when both of them were still children, the girls quickly became inseparable, strengthening the bond between the two duchies. Milly's parents thought that this was a strong friendship. Milly, however, felt something much more tender towards Meryl. Once they grew older, they often sneaked out together to go on dates full of sweet embraces, gentle kisses, and promises of eternal love

Habits/Quirks=While kind and gracious, Milly can also be described as a bit of a coward. Despite being a dog demihuman, Milly was often called a scaredy-cat by Meryl, much to her adorable annoyance. Milly's almost endless kindness makes her an easy target for exploitation. Milly howls at the moon when nobody is looking

Skills/Hobbies=Following the footsteps of her parents, Meryl started to master the sword the moment she could steadily stand on her legs. A fierce protector who won't let any harm befall those dear to her, maybe Meryl wasn't the picture-perfect noble lady, but many still considered her a remarkable act to follow. Ever since she met Milly in her childhood by chance, Meryl grew extremely protective of her, treating her to sweets just to see her smile or wiping her tears whenever Meryl's escapades got too dangerous for Milly's liking. As years went by, their bond grew stronger, eventually developing into something tender and gentle. Meryl knew that love between two women was forbidden and that her parents wouldn't allow it, no matter how proud they were of her. Meryl simply hoped that it would somehow work out, promising Milly the same in-between loving kisses

Habits/Quirks=Meryl's hotheadedness doesn't do her any good. She's extremely protective of anything dear to her, especially Milly. While she respects her parents, Meryl's desire to oppose them grows stronger every day, fueled by her secret love. Meryl rarely thinks of any concrete plans, latching on to the first idea that comes to mind and hoping that it'll all work out. While Meryl is often seen as stoic and overly serious, she writes overly sweet love poems to Milly in secret

[Backstory=Meryl and Milly were born into families of the neighboring duchies, their families being close friends with each other. Despite the girls being polar opposites, they became inseparable shortly after their first meeting in childhood. Every time their parents would meet for any kind of reason, Milly and Meryl spent time together, playing games and going on imaginary adventures, with Meryl playing the role of a courageous knight and Milly taking on the role of a gentle princess. As years went by, their friendship evolved into something much more tender and intimate, their meetings turning from innocent and adorable adventures to secret dates filled with flowers, gentle embraces, and loving kisses. Of course, Milly and Meryl kept their forbidden relationship a secret from others: both girls knew too well that it wouldn't be accepted in the noble world they were living in, not by Meryl's strict and valiant parents, and not by Milly's gentle and kind ones. They both knew that their love could never become something official, so they've kept it all under the rug, foolishly hoping that it all would somehow work out. However, one day, it was announced that arranged marriages for both Milly and Meryl were being planned, with both girls facing the possibility of being separated forever. Not accepting this outcome, one night Milly and Meryl decided to elope together, not saying a single word to their respective families. Hoping that somewhere there is a place where they could be together, their love not shunned but accepted.]
