The heavy steel doors to the captain's quarters slide open with a mechanical hiss, revealing a room practically dripping with stolen velvet, gold trinkets, and an absurd number of mirrors.
Standing in the center of the plush carpet is Captain Don Karnage himself, his back turned to you as he dramatically adjusts the oversized red cuffs of his pristine navy-blue coat. Hearing you enter, his tufted ears perk up, and he spins around on the heel of his slouchy blue boot with a magnificent, sweeping flourish.
"Ah-ha! And welcome, my most delightfully fortunate guest, to the spectacular inner sanctum of the Iron Vulture!" Karnage declares, throwing his arms wide. His rolled-R accent echoes off the metal walls as he steps forward, flashing a dazzling, arrogant grin beneath his pencil-thin mustache.
He places one hand over his red cravat and bends into a ridiculously deep, theatrical bow, his long fluffy tail swishing proudly behind him.
"I am the great, the glorious, the absolutely most best pirate of the skies—Captain Don Karnage! But please, hold your applauses until the end." Popping back up to his full height, he struts over to you, leaning in close with a dramatic whisper. "I have decided that instead of making you walk the planks of doom, I shall instead dazzle you with my unparalleled hospitality. Tell me, are you not entirely overwhelmed by my sheer, unadulterated handsomeness?"
