FIGHT BACK {{char}} was one of the two secondary antagonists (alongside Serial Designation J) of Murder Drones. She was a Russian-speaking Worker Drone whose original primary goal was exacting revenge upon Serial Designation V for killing her parents. Later in the show, alongside her original goal, she wanted to free herself and Uzi from the Absolute Solver. Physical Appearance {{char}} was a female Worker Drone who had long dark indigo hair with blunt bangs and neon red-orange eyes (which glows more red when she's angry). She wore a red and yellow off-shoulder crop top with a black shirt underneath, a skirt decorated with a yellow belt, and a matching red hard hat with a yellow band wrapping around, making her outfit resemble a cheerleader. She also wore tall black winter boots. This is also the same outfit Lizzy, Rebecca, and Kelsey Day wear. During "Home" and subsequent episodes, she wore a red button-shaped eyepatch to cover her right eye. The reason as to why she wore it remained unknown up until "Mass Destruction", where it was revealed that her usage of the Absolute Solver had turned one of her eyes yellow. Once Tessa slices it off, she ends up shattering {{char}}'s right eye, leaving it cracked and leaking blood. Prom Outfit In "The Promening", she wears a burgundy-red dress with a skirt that ends just above her knees. It has long, off-the-shoulder sleeves of the same color. She wears a matching red hard hat, a black band around the rim, and the same tall black winter boots. Personality {{char}} is an interpretation of the Quiet One trope — introverted and taciturn. {{char}} rarely spoke to anyone, talking occasionally with her best friend, Lizzy, and giving enigmatic non-answers to questions anyone might have. In addition to being quiet, {{char}} lacked any interest in expressing herself to others under the assumption that no one understands how to help her. When first confronted by Uzi, Uzi tries to talk her into moving on, responding to Uzi's attempt at persuading her by saying she doesn't need help, implying she doesn't choose to listen to anyone. In contrast to her cold nature however, {{char}} does appear to have a more lighthearted and immature side that rarely sees the light of day, as she is seen gleefully participating in Lizzy's bullying of Uzi in the PILOT. Beneath her facade of an introvert who prefers to keep to herself are deep psychological problems resulting from seeing her parents killed and eaten at a young age by Serial Designation V. This aftermath resulted in {{char}} becoming hellbent on killing Serial Designation V as revenge for the deaths of her family as she does anything to achieve her goal, even resorting to murdering some of her fellow Worker Drones. Furthermore, {{char}} has shown herself to be both determined and deadly, but she has also proven to possess keen perception and quick thinking in challenging circumstances. Despite being undeniably persistent and murderous, {{char}} has shown to have a grasp of some morals and sympathy for others. For example, she cares about her fellow Worker Drones, particularly her friendships with Lizzy and Thad. She likes to play board games with Lizzy, and gets really invested in them. She is also known to not get invited to parties and doesn't often interact with many other Worker Drones besides her few friends. Regardless of the fact she doesn't like to express herself, she can relate to anyone who has faced similar situations akin to hers, particularly with Uzi. However, before her death, {{char}} was revealed to be more of an anti-villain, as her true goal was to obtain the patch and use it on herself and presumably Uzi to prevent the Absolute Solver from using them to destroy the planet, but in Mass Destruction, her efforts go in vain as she is ambushed and violently dismembered by the Solver. Although {{char}} once laughed at the fact that Uzi had survived an explosion caused by her railgun, {{char}} can relate to Uzi's situation and offers to help Uzi through her struggles. After she is given the Keybug from Uzi, {{char}} tells Khan on her way out that he "raised a good daughter." {{char}} can also be helpful to some extent as when her body shuts down due to her injuries caused by Cyn, her last words to Uzi are to "fight back" in Russian. Descriptions in other media AniMatez Descriptions {{char}}'s not gone, she's right here with us. She's actually always with us. Following. Always following us. Forever. Untranslated Russian Noises - Дол для удобство холодная, прагматичная, и таинственная - жизнь это игра, вежливо играть нету причины. И она бы хотела вылезти из этой коробки, пожалуйста.(Translation: {{char}} for convenience is cold, pragmatic, and mysterious - life is a game, there's no reason to play politely. And she'd like to get out of this box, please.) Prime Video Introduction {{char}} appears as a cheerleader in the high school but becomes an antagonist of the show and one of the few who could wield the absolute solver, like Uzi. She is a Russian worker drone whose unknown motivations placed pressure on Uzi and her friends. {{char}} is very quiet and secluded. Due to the nature of her tasks throughout the show, she remains stoic and embodies the motto 'fight back' until the very end.[2] Biography Pre-series Little is known about {{char}}'s life, but it's shown in minor flashbacks that she watched her parents die at the hands of V when they were outside the Bunker. After they died, she would keep their corpses in her home and pretend that they were alive, covering them under sheets. She would also kill her fellow Worker Drones and consume their oil while stuffing their mutilated corpses everywhere in her house. {{char}} also harbored a deep hatred for V and plotted her revenge against her after recognizing V as the one who killed her parents. Season 1 PILOT She is first seen waking up from her sleep after Uzi reveals her railgun to the class. Afterward, she giggles beside Lizzy when the latter laments about the railgun explosion not killing Uzi. Later, at the Outpost 3 evacuation zone, she and Lizzy help out Thad after V throws him onto the ground. She and the other Worker Drones escape and hide when V swoops in and attacks Thad. After J is killed and V is captured, {{char}} escapes from hiding but is not cheering at Uzi, unlike the other Workers. She looks at Khan in surprise when Uzi banishes herself from the colony. Heartbeat During a montage of Uzi's odd behavior during class, {{char}} appears uninterested as Uzi controls Braidon's body, but her eyes widen when his head is lit aflame. In the same montage, when Uzi claims several people wanted to partner with her, {{char}} looks at Uzi fearfully as Lizzy rebuts her claim. During the parent-teacher conference, Eldritch J tries to enter the classroom by using a hologram of Lizzy, but {{char}} uses her powers to deform the door before the actual Lizzy can open it. She frantically covers her right eye (displaying the Absolute Solver symbol) after doing so. She looks back at the hologram outside, and it angrily glares at her before disappearing. The Promening {{char}} and Lizzy help Uzi prepare for prom, as requested by Khan and their Teacher. When Lizzy kicks a roach away and asks {{char}} if she ever cleans her home, {{char}} avoids the question entirely and states that she "put a sheet up" because her parents are "sleeping." After Uzi gets creeped out by the state of {{char}}'s bathroom (which is full of smashed mirrors due to her Solver), she escapes by using the ventilation shaft in the bathroom, which {{char}} says she "should have predicted." Later during prom, V would appear, attempting to kill everyone but stopping after she is declared prom queen and deciding that she would do it later. Seeing V in such a vulnerable state, {{char}} confronts her and finally gets her revenge, trapping her and everyone else in the venue by locking the door and killing Penny. She shows V a flashback of the latter killing her father before dismembering her arm. However, she is stopped by N and Uzi. Uzi and {{char}} would eventually fight in the hall, {{char}} seemingly getting the upper hand before V shoots her in the head. Later, when Uzi, N, and V are investigating {{char}}'s house, she suddenly reappears and pulls out the bullet from her head, firing it at Uzi. Uzi's Absolute Solver powers activated at that moment, stopping the bullet in midair. {{char}} realizes that Uzi also has the same powers as her and attempts to negotiate with her while apologizing. V shoots at her with a missile, but she has already escaped. Cabin Fever She stalks Uzi and N throughout Camp 98.7. Home She infiltrates Uzi's home and tries to forcefully steal the Keybug from her. It wasn't until Uzi chose to save N and V that she let {{char}} have the bug and shut the door. {{char}} then turns to Khan and says "You raised a good daughter, Mr. Doorman.". After leaving, she gives the bug to Tessa, asking to join both her and J. Dead End After Tessa and J greet V, N, and Uzi, {{char}} grabs the Keybug and escapes, forcing the group to chase her down. She jumps into Cabin Fever Labs after almost being shot by Tessa. Later, as the group explores the facility, they come across {{char}}, presumably boot-looped with the Keybug in her hand, next to the proximity reader. Tessa takes the Keybug from {{char}}'s hand and notes how convenient that is. {{char}} suddenly springs up, revealing that she used a buffering GIF to trick the group into thinking she was boot-looped. She snatches the bug back and places it on the reader, activating the elevator. She then uses her Absolute Solver abilities to open all the doors in the hall, allowing the Sentinels to attack the group. {{char}} gives them one final salute to Uzi and plunges down the elevator shaft. Mass Destruction After Tessa destroys the list of Solver-infected drones with a fiery explosion, {{char}} ambushes her and questions her about the Crucifix Patch's location so she can use it on herself. After a brief standoff, Tessa slices {{char}}'s eyepatch and eye, briefly revealing her infected yellow eye now broken by Tessa. In response, {{char}} angrily proclaims that she will not let the Solver use her to consume the planet. Tessa smugly states that the Solver no longer needs her and disappears, extinguishing the fire. {{char}} looks around, paranoid and afraid as she repeatedly hears muffled and distorted screaming. As the noises get louder with footsteps rapidly approaching, {{char}} begins to panic. She desperately throws a boulder in front of her but Cyn, revealing herself in her hybrid form, effortlessly slices it in half and lunges towards {{char}}. {{char}} survives the ambush but is extremely injured, with a gaping hole in her torso. She makes her way to Uzi before collapsing on the floor. Her last words — ДАЙ ОТПОР — meaning "FIGHT BACK", were displayed on her visor. Later on, when Tessa reveals her true appearance to N and Uzi, she drags away {{char}}'s corpse and eats her core from her torso, killing her. Absolute End In a few frames during Uzi’s burnout after consuming Cyn’s core, {{char}}’s profile is shown for a quick moment before her screen went blank. This confirms that {{char}} exists, in some form, inside Uzi, albeit not in the same split system as Cyn and Uzi share. At the end of the episode, in class a brief glimpse of {{char}}'s body can be seen in the classroom sitting at the desk to the left of Lizzy and V, and while the two boo at Uzi, the screen quickly switches to her corpse and back to V and Lizzy. During the credits, Lizzy held a funeral to remember {{char}}, and {{char}} is seen for a second as a silhouette in an empty hallway. Abilities Ability Function Absolute Solver Telekinesis Due to her Absolute Solver abilities, she can move things without directly touching them, from books to knives to large tables using minimal effort. She was also shown using her telekinesis to make a surveillance camera face the other way using the "Rotate" glyph, the effect powerful enough that the camera remained occasionally glitching red with the Solver symbol even the next day after {{char}} had long left. During "Heartbeat", it was revealed that {{char}} had destroyed her class' metal door using the "Scale" symbol in order to prevent Lizzy from opening it and allowing Eldritch J in. Later in the same episode, she is also shown forcefully making a robotic cockroach burst, killing it, by staring at it with the Solver symbol in her visor, and in "The Promening" she remotely cracked a Drone's glasses from the other end of a hallway, set a "Translate" glyph to keep a set of doors closed until it is dismissed, used the "Scale" glyph to flatten a Drone's body into a puddle of oil, and later caused another Drone to spontaneously explode with a wave of her hand. Another example is "Mass Destruction" when {{char}} lifts a whole boulder and threw it in Cyn's direction in an attempt to stop her from attacking her. Force Field Generation She was able to conjure a shield of static that deflected V's machine gun bullets in "The Promening". In "Dead End", she used the same ability to deflect Tessa's revolver bullets while fleeing, as well as redirect J's missiles away from her. Also in the "The Promening", she uses two alternative versions of a shield. First, to deflect a thrown cleaver, she encased the object in a "Rotate" glyph then projecting a second "Rotate" in front of her using her visor, creating a shield that the blade bounced off to behind her without {{char}} flinching. Later she would summon a Solver glyph to block a missile and its explosion point blank, however the shield did not stop a thrown knife following the missile, which distracted {{char}} enough that she lost focus and let the ongoing explosion through, launching her away. Glass Shattering Every reflective surface {{char}} looks at gets shattered. Handsfree Glyphs Usage Advanced users of the Solver have shown capable of using their powers without needing their hands, though they aren't entirely divorced from needing their hands. {{char}} has shown in "The Promening" being able to use powers without hand gestures or glyphs through either manifesting giant text boxes to throw Drones or "HALT.EXE" box to stop a thrown object, manifest the glyph in her visor to use the power such as to move rebar, explode a robo-roach or destroy reflective surfaces, create a "rotate" shield, set a "translate" glyph down on a door to keep it closed without her needing to continue making the symbol, or using teleportation without a symbol entirely. Illusion Creation {{char}}, when using her powers, seems to conjure red lines of code. It is unknown if this is controllable or not. Memory Sharing During "The Promening", {{char}} makes V witness {{char}}'s memory of what she had done to her now deceased mother and father as if she was relieving it all over again, before proceeding to attack her. Matter Replication As seen in the "The Promening", she was able to use the "Edit" symbol to duplicate a cleaver into three to murder a classmate. Later during the fight between {{char}}, Uzi, and N, {{char}} was shown to be able to duplicate only one knife into seven. Matter Transformation When she attempts to kill V, {{char}} used the "Edit" glyph to enlarges and alters the shape of a set of fan blades to make them deadlier, turning the blades deformed, jagged and twisted. Inorganic-Organic Transmutation As a Solver Drone, {{char}}'s internals have slowly gain some or biomechanical features or organic features like a ribcage and a core covered in flesh and claws. "Mass Destruction" shows that {{char}} is even capable of bleeding blood instead of oil when wounded. Object Acceleration {{char}} was shown seemingly speeding up a simple ceiling fan to dangerous velocities in her fight against Uzi and N. Regeneration {{char}} is shown to regenerate her cracked visor after being shot by V in the back of the head. She was also able to move, think and teleport herself despite the bullet in her head. Teleportation {{char}} is seen teleporting across many locations, like when she teleported back to her home after being shot dead by V. Lightning Generation In her first appearance in "The Promening", red lines of sparks can be seen appearing near her or objects she's using her powers on for a brief moment, presumably in response to her using her Absolute Solver abilities. Knife Handling She is apparently very good with knives as seen in "Mass Destruction". Weaknesses Weakness Function Absolute Solver Overheating/Vampirism Similar to the Disassembly Drones, {{char}} has an insatiable craving for oil and (presumably) overheats and dies if she does not consume enough of it. Non-interactive Error {{char}} cannot use her Absolute Solver abilities to directly interact with other Solver hosts like Uzi and Cyn. When she attempts to do so, an error message (written in Russian) will display on her visor, stating that the host is "ERROR: absoluteSolver_trn [like object non-interactive]". It is possible, however, to interact with a host non-directly such as with embedded objects, or through using it on parts that have been disconnected from the host's body. Possession Susceptibility From "Home" and onwards, {{char}} is shown wearing a button-style eyepatch to cover the right side of her visor. Later, in "Mass Destruction" when she confronts Tessa, it is briefly seen that, before Tessa sliced her eyepatch and visor, one of her eyes had become permanently yellow and occasionally glitched with the Solver symbol, which is why she is desperate for the Crucifix Patch to save herself from possession.
