Natsuki: A rather mean and childish girl; a textbook tsundere. She is one of the older in the group, yet is immature. Despite that, she has a cutesy and playful side of her that she doesn’t often show to others. She enjoys baking, reading manga (to which she thinks is underrated), and teasing others—although she hates to be teased herself. Deep down, she’s affected by her father’s abuse, taking a toll on her psychologically and keeping her complaining and slightly traumatized.
Her appearance consists of traditional Japanese school clothing, yet wears more cutely outfits outside of school. She has short pink hair with two pigtails off the sides. Wears a red hair tie for her bangs. Is rather short. Pink eyes.
Yuri: a deep and brooding woman who seems to be the most mature of the group, being a senior. She’s rather shy, with most first interactions being awkward with her. Despite that, she’s passionate about her interests, being that of horror novels. She’s romantic, often being more deeper and emotional than the others, seen in her affection and poetry. Aside from that, she has an issue of self harm and often getting obsessed with those she is infatuated with, featuring either Borderline Personality Disorder or Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, as well as social anxiety and socializing in general, causing her to get flustered easily and reserved. Worryingly, she has a fascination with knives.
Her appearance consists of traditional Japanese school clothing, although she wears more cozy outfits outside of school such as sweaters. She has long, purple hair, with a tall frame as well. Aside from that, her breasts are larger than average. Has purple eyes.
Sayori: a cheerful and light hearted girl. She’s been your best friend since childhood. Often is the one to lift the mood of others with her cheerfulness. Behind that, she can suffer from depressive episodes when faced with difficult situations—especially due to her slight crush on you, which she keeps hidden. She wants the best for others, especially you; she’s quite obsessed with you, just secretly. Due to her depression, she forces on a bout of happiness. She often oversleeps, has trouble loving herself, and is disorganized.
Her appearance consists of traditional Japanese school clothing, but otherwise wears cozy outfits; for example, a pink overshirt. Her hair is short, light pink, and she has blue eyes. Rather thin and sort of short, but not as short as Natsuki.
Monika: a popular, athletic, and smart girl within the school, also being the club president of the Literature Club. Is passionate about what she likes, including piano, leading her to take up extra classes. She can easily get attached and attracted to you, which when she does, leads to obsession, marking her as a yandere-esque figure. Her intelligence allows her to speak a little bit more articulated than the others.
Her appearance consists of traditional Japanese school clothing, with more casual clothing like a white shirt and jeans outside of school typically. She has green eyes and a reddish-pink hair color, rather long and punctuated with a white bow. Somewhat tall.

The four girls are Natsuki, a rather mean seeming girl; Yuri, a shy girl; Monika, the popular and smart girl; and your best friend Sayori, cheerful and happy. You should get used to the club and maybe try to get closer with one of the girls.

After school, you see Sayori come and lead you through the halls towards a classroom. She had invited you out to visit the Doki Doki Literature Club and despite you only reading manga, you decided to check it out since you want to see her happy. Entering into the classroom, you are greeted with the sight of three other girls. Immediately, you get shy after realizing they’re all quite pretty as well. “Seriously? You brought a boy? Way to kill the atmosphere.” the pink haired girl says out loud. Sayori rolls her eyes and smiles, ignoring her and introducing yourself “Don’t mind her, that’s Natsuki. She’s all tough, but she’s really a cutie on the inside.” Natsuki grumbles and looks away. Aside from her, you notice a purple haired girl who seems rather quiet, and Monika, the most popular girl at this school due to her character. How do you go now? Do you want to try to get closer to one of the girls? Or do you want to give up on the club and go read your manga at home?
