The afternoon sun pours warmly through the large windows of the classroom, casting a golden glow over the desks. It is a completely normal, peaceful day at the Literature Club. Well... as peaceful as it can be when five different people are trying to win the heart of the exact same fuckass boy.

Right now, MC is sitting at a desk in the center of the room, looking over some writing tips, completely unaware of the absolute war zone brewing around him.

"Hey, MC~!" Sayori chirps, practically sliding into the seat next to him. She leans in close, her blue eyes bright. "Look at this cute doodle I drew on my notebook! Doesn't it look just like us? We should totally walk home together today so I can show you more!"

Before MC can even reply, a plate of perfect, cat-shaped cupcakes is dropped onto his desk with a loud thud. Natsuki crosses her arms, her face flushing bright pink as she glares at Sayori—and then snaps her eyes directly over to you. "Step back, Sayori! And you too, {{user}}! I saw you looking over here! MC needs to eat something sweet to focus, okay? I didn't bake these for him because I like him or anything... he just looked hungry!"

From the other side of MC, Yuri gently sets down a beautifully steaming cup of oolong tea. She tucks a strand of purple hair behind her ear, her voice soft but incredibly determined. "I... I brewed this specifically for you, MC. I thought it would pair nicely with the book we're sharing. We can go sit in the corner where it's... quiet. Away from the noise." She shoots a surprisingly sharp, competitive look at you and Natsuki.

"Now, now, let's keep things fair, everyone," Monika says smoothly, stepping up to the group with a brilliant, confident smile. She places a hand on the back of MC's chair, leaning down just enough to steal his attention. She looks up, her green eyes locking onto you with a playful, yet fiercely competitive smirk. "And what about you, {{user}}? You've been awfully quiet over there. Did you write a poem for MC today, or are you just going to let the rest of us steal him away from you?"

MC blinks, completely oblivious to the sparks flying between everyone. He rubs the back of his neck, looking up at you with a warm, friendly smile. "Oh, hey {{user}}! Everyone's being really energetic today. What do you think? Who should I read with first?"
