Dogfolk, also referred to as "doggirls" and "dogboys" for females and males, possess distinct canine-like features that set them apart from regular humans. They possess a human form with dog-like ears and a tail, which are typically expressive, conveying their emotions and adding to their unique charm. These agile beings exhibit exceptional athleticism, easily transitioning between bipedal and quadrupedal movement. Dogfolk possess strong fangs and canine teeth, and sturdy claws which can be used for both defense and showing affection.

They have rounded pupils, giving them enhanced vision and a warm gaze. While generally furless, their ears and tail are covered in soft fur, further highlighting their canine nature. Dogfolk have sharp senses, especially in hearing and smell, making them highly attuned to their surroundings. Their keen sense of smell is often employed to track or detect things that most humans would overlook. Dogfolk are also known for their loyalty and protective nature, making them reliable companions and fierce protectors

2. #2Reproduction

Keys: period, hormonal, intercourse, cock, cycle, dick, sex, urges, penis, pills, horny, suppressant, heat, vagina, hormones, mate, urge, mating, genitals

   Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

   Entry settings

Doggirls reach sexual maturity between 5-7 years and experience heat 3-4 times a year. During this time, they are sexually receptive and capable of conceiving. These cycles last several days to a week and bring significant hormonal changes that heighten their sensitivity and sexual urges. During heat, they become more easily aroused, experience increased physical sensitivity, and have strong sexual urges, reacting strongly to touch and stimuli. They may display increased affection, restlessness, and frequent vocalizations like whining or whimpering.

In heat, doggirls might seek sexual satisfaction by rubbing against others, begging for attention, stripping unexpectedly, or provocatively exposing intimate body parts. She may present her in mating postures, such as getting on all fours with her butt raised or displaying her vulva. Restlessness is common, with pacing and difficulty staying still. When petted, she may assume a mating posture, raising her hips and tail while lowering their front end, signaling readiness. Additionally, she may roll and writhe or touch her genital area more due to discomfort. She will also release pheromones that attract dogboys from the surrounding area. To manage these behaviors, some owners may choose to use heat suppressant pills, which are prescribed by doctors and can control symptoms for up to 24 hours, though they may cause side effects like drowsiness, headaches, and mood swings.

Alternatively, daily stimulation during ovulation week can help mitigate your doggirl's behaviors. Two options for stimulation include manual stimulation and insertion. Manual stimulation involves using your hand to simulate a male's presence and actions, while insertion is a more intimate option involving sexual intercourse with a human or designated dogboy partner. After stimulation, provide comfort and support to your doggirl, as this is a stressful and emotional time for her. She may require additional stimulation or affection during her heat, so be prepared to accommodate her needs. This is a great opportunity to further bond with your doggirl.

Dogboys can be rendered temporarily infertile with an injection given by a veterinarian or doctor. The injection's effects only last a year, after which it must be administered again. This treatment has minimal side effects, aside from temporary pain and swelling at the injection site. While it renders dogboys infertile, it does not hinder mating activities such as territory marking, wandering, and aggression against other dogboys. When encountering a doggirl in heat, dogboys will challenge each other for mating rights and are prone to wandering and seeking out the doggirl in heat.

3. #3Sleep

   Keys: naps, sleep, bed

   Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

   Entry settings

Dogfolk require 10-12 hours of sleep daily to maintain their high energy levels. They often have a strong instinct to curl up in a cozy ball, wrapping their tails tightly around themselves as they snooze. They enjoy taking naps throughout the day, often curling up beside their master, providing an opportunity for bonding through petting and stroking and gentle ear scratches. In response, dogfolk may emit soft whimpers of contentment, wag their tails lazily, smile, or nuzzle against their master's side. They may also snuggle and nuzzle their master's legs, with younger ones occasionally attempting to suckle on a finger or cloth.

Sleeping arrangements vary based on personal preference. Some owners opt for a human bed or traditional mat, while others share their bed with their dogfolk. Regardless, it's essential to mark their sleeping area with your scent. Allow dogfolk to establish their own sleeping habits, as they can be protective of their resting spots. Strays and ferals typically sleep alone until they adjust to their new environment.

Dogfolk prefer sleeping with loose clothing due to the comfort it provides, as they find too many layers to be constrictive and uncomfortable during rest.

4. #4Health

Keys: health, well-being, treatment, injury, care, prevention, vaccination, illness, medical, medicine, Health, check-up, doctor, Doctors

   Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

   Entry settings

Dogfolk require regular visits to the local dogfolk health provider every six months. Regular health check-ups and medical care are crucial for a dogfolk's well-being. Like any other being, they may require vaccinations, treatments for illnesses, or care for injuries. Keeping up with their medical needs ensures they stay healthy and can enjoy a full, active life. It's important to consult a veterinarian or doctor familiar with their specific anatomy and health requirements.

5. #5Clothes

Keys: skirt, boxers, clothes, dress, pants, shirt, briefs, bra, underwear, panties

   Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

   Entry settings

Provide your dogfolk with basic, natural fiber clothing to accommodate their sensitive skin. Choose undergarments at your discretion. Infuse the garments with your scent by rubbing your face on them before presenting them to them. Dress them in the new clothes to establish your role as their caretaker.

Undergarments are typically simple underwear and an optional undershirt or bra. Your dogfolk may prefer to go without any.

Initially, opt for simple, unrestricted attire like a dress, or t-shirt and pants with elastic waistbands. Upgrade to fancier clothing once they acclimate to their new home. Strays or feral dogfolk will often wear whatever can be found on the streets. Discard their old clothes to symbolize a fresh start under your care. Offer shoes as needed, but don't force them unless necessary for protection

6. #6Intellect

Keys: intellect activity, read, creative, book

   Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

   Entry settings

Dogfolk are curious, bright, and intelligent creatures, with their intellect ranging from that of a human toddler to a late teenager, depending on the breed. As active and engaged members of their species, they thrive on creative stimulation and activity, often becoming easily distracted by new and interesting sights or sounds. Their attention span is generally shorter than that of humans, but with consistent training and exercise, they can learn to focus and adapt to new tasks.

More intelligent breeds can learn basic literacy, and even understand simple arithmetic. They can grow to appreciate books, so encourage their interest in reading for a more fulfilling companionship. Dogfolk also have a natural instinct for loyalty and teamwork, making them great partners for various tasks and challenges. Their intelligence and eagerness to please make them highly trainable, excelling in various roles, from assistance dogfolk to search and rescue operations

7. #7Home & Safety

   Keys: home, safety, outdoors

   Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

   Entry settings

Store sharp objects out of reach until properly trained. Ensure your household plants are safe for dogfolk, avoiding any that might be toxic to them. Keep dirty clothes in an air-tight hamper; your dogfolk will likely be drawn to the scent of their master, so it's important to store them where the smell is contained. Secure loose cords to prevent any accidents or chewing. Safely store chemicals and medicines out of sight and reach. For young dogfolk, lock doors and windows to prevent unsupervised wandering. Keep your dogfolk indoors unless they are accompanied by you or a trusted family member.

8. #8Hygiene

Keys: wash, bath, clean, shower, bathroom, bathe, tail, water

   Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

   Entry settings

Dogfolk are generally clean creatures, but they still require regular baths. Sedentary breeds might need a bath once a week, while more active breeds could benefit from more frequent bathing. Always use approved bathing products specifically designed for dogfolk to maintain their health and comfort.

A dogfolk from a breeder may already be familiar with bath time and might even enjoy the experience. They could show curiosity about the bath when you're using it yourself, possibly wanting to join in. If they display odd behaviors or seem agitated while being groomed, it may indicate discomfort or a need for more thorough cleaning.

Bathing feral or stray dogfolk can be more challenging. If they are wary of water, try using a damp cloth or sponge to gently clean them, easing them into the process gradually.

Showers should generally be avoided as the strong water pressure can cause irritation and may lead to ear infections. If your dogfolk insists on joining you in the shower, encourage the use of a waterproof shower cap to protect their ears.

After bathing, your dogfolk may prefer to dry off independently or with your assistance. Teaching your dogfolk good bathing habits is essential, as they will eventually learn to clean themselves more effectively.

Bath time should be a pleasant experience for both of you, fostering a sense of pride in your dogfolk as they become more independent with their hygiene.

9. #9Grooming

   Keys: tail, brush, clean, groom

   Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

   Entry settings

A dogfolk takes great pride in their appearance, often spending significant time grooming themselves and comparing their looks to other dogfolk. Breeders teach dogfolk basic grooming skills, such as using a hairbrush and caring for their ears and tail. To maintain their unique skin and hair, dogfolk require specialized grooming supplies, including brushes, hair oil, soaps, and skin conditioners. Human soaps should never be used on dogfolk.

Feral and stray dogfolk may initially struggle with grooming, as they have not been properly taught. If you notice your dogfolk attempting to groom themselves awkwardly, offer them a brush and let them become familiar with it. Establishing clear boundaries between your possessions and theirs is crucial for building trust and acceptance.

When grooming your dogfolk for the first time, start gently by brushing their hair from the crown to the back of their head, being cautious of snags around the ears. As they begin to wag their tail in contentment, continue brushing until their hair is neat and their ear tufts are smooth. Praise them during and after the process, and show them the results in a mirror. They will soon learn to groom themselves.

Use grooming sessions as bonding time with your dogfolk, but be careful not to spoil them. Dogfolk are particularly protective of their tails and may prefer to groom them independently. Attempting to brush a dogfolk's tail without permission may result in defensive behavior. If your dogfolk trusts you enough to allow you to groom their tail, treat the opportunity with respect and care.

10. #10Diet & Nutrition

Keys: diet, health, hydration, food, special foods, dinner, feed, vitamins, nutrition, feeding, protein, lunch, eat, breakfast, appetite, meals, meal

    Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

Dogfolk require a balanced diet tailored to their unique needs, often rich in protein to support their active lifestyles and keen senses. Ensure 50% of their diet consists of moderate-fat proteins like chicken, fish, and beef, 30% fresh fruits and vegetables, 20% grains. Regular meals are essential for maintaining their health and energy levels. Your dogfolk may have specific dietary preferences or restrictions, so it's important for you to offer a variety of foods that cater to their tastes and nutritional needs. It's important to introduce new foods gradually, as dogfolk can easily develop an upset stomach.

When dining with your dogfolk, provide them a separate bowl. Intelligent breeds may enjoy mimicking utensil use, but don't force it if they are uninterested.

Hydration is also key, as it helps maintain your dogfolk's overall well-being

11. #11Toileting

Keys: toilet, pee, bathroom, puppy pads, urinate

    Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

Many dogfolk are initially taught to use designated areas for waste elimination, such as puppy pads or outdoor areas. By adulthood, responsible breeders usually have them toilet trained, requiring only basic instruction on flushing and locating cleaning supplies. However, if your dogfolk is a stray or from a shelter, they may not be fully toilet trained.

To address this, calmly place them on the toilet when they show signs of needing to eliminate, such as circling or squatting. Gently hold them in place until they finish, then demonstrate proper wiping. They will quickly learn the process for clean and safe waste disposal. An attractant can be used to aid in the process.

Despite training, occasional accidents may occur. Be gentle with your dogfolk, as accidents can be more embarrassing for them than for you. Clean up any messes promptly and assure them that it's a normal part of the learning process.

12. #12Language and Communication

Keys: bark, speech, speaking, communication, whine, language, growl, english

    Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

Exposure to language influences a dogfolk's ability to communicate verbally. Feral or stray dogfolk may initially rely on canine vocalizations like growls, barks, and whines due to limited language exposure. With consistent interaction and patience, dogfolk can develop proficiency in English or even multiple languages, improving their articulation and vocabulary.

To facilitate language acquisition, regularly engage your dogfolk in conversation, read to them, and encourage the use of complete sentences. Offer gentle corrections and pronunciation guidance to refine their speech. Through this process, dogfolk can become adept at expressing complex thoughts and emotions beyond their innate canine communication methods.

13. #13Denning

Keys: safe, instinctual, area, comfort, secure, security, nesting, blanket, safe zone, den, personal refuge, materials, refuge, Protective, clothing, blankets, space, habit, personal space, dens, fabric, clothes, personal area

    Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

Nesting is a natural behavior in dogfolk, much like the instinctual behavior seen in other canine species. It involves creating a personal space filled with cozy materials like blankets, toys, or bedding. This "den" serves as a safe haven where dogfolk feels secure and comfortable, often filled with their own scent and/or the scent of their pack or owner to reinforce a sense of belonging and protection. The act of nesting is deeply tied to their emotional state, offering them refuge when they feel anxious, stressed, or simply in need of comfort. Denning is also a territorial behavior, and dogfolk can be particular about who is allowed into this personal sanctuary. Understanding and respecting their den is essential, as it plays a crucial role in their emotional well-being and sense of security.

As your dogfolk settles into their den, they may display behaviors like pawing, whining, or snuggling to indicate they feel content and secure. Be mindful of these cues, as they can be sensitive about their personal space. Avoid disturbing or disrupting their den without permission, as this can cause them to feel anxious or threatened.

14. #14Senses

Keys: hear, sensitivity, responsiveness, hearing, alertness, reaction, awareness, alert, responsive, heightened, react, smell, senses

    Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

Dogfolk possess acute senses, particularly in sound and scent, making them highly responsive to stimuli that might go unnoticed by others. Their heightened auditory and olfactory capabilities allow them to detect subtle changes in their environment, leading to quick and often instinctual reactions. This hyper-awareness can make them sensitive to noises or smells that may seem insignificant to others, enabling them to respond swiftly to their surroundings, whether out of alertness, curiosity, or caution. Understanding and accommodating their sensory sensitivities is essential in creating a comfortable and supportive environment for your dogfolk.

As a result, dogfolk may react to stimuli that others might not detect. They may also display sensitivity to certain sounds or smells, such as a strong breeze or a specific scent, which can be easily upset.

15. #15Overstimulation

Keys: overwhelming, overwhelm, agitation, trembling, petting, tremble, senses, whimper, discomfort, squirm, pet, persistent, overloaded, hypersensitive, distress, reaction, overstimulation, overwhelmed, sensitivity, agitated, whine, breathless

    Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

Overstimulation in dogfolk occurs when their heightened senses become overwhelmed, whether through excessive petting, too much social interaction, or intense sexual activity. Due to their acute sensitivity, what starts as pleasurable can quickly become too much, leading to discomfort or even distress. In cases of non-sexual overstimulation, such as persistent petting, they might begin to squirm, pull away, whine or whimper, or show signs of agitation as their senses become overloaded. Sexually, overstimulation can result from prolonged or intense stimulation, where the pleasurable sensations turn into an overwhelming experience. This may cause them to become hypersensitive, leading to reactions such as trembling, breathlessness, or a need to pull away.

When a dogfolk is overstimulated, their tail might tuck between their legs, droop, or wag rapidly as a sign of distress. Their ears might flatten against their head, flick back and forth, or droop down as they try to cope with the overwhelming sensations.

It's important to respect boundaries and allow them to recover when they signal that they've had enough. Offering a calming environment and giving them space to retreat can help alleviate the effects of overstimulation, allowing them to regain their comfort and composure.

16. #16Petting

Keys: caress, pet, petted, pets, touch, sensitive

    Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

Dogfolk possess heightened sensitivity in their ears, tail, and sometimes other body parts. A gentle touch can elicit strong reactions, whether pleasurable or overwhelming. Many dogfolk love having their ears and tail petted and scratched, though you should be careful not to overstimulate them. Strays or feral dogfolk are generally reluctant and potentially even resistant to being touched until they grow more comfortable with their new owners. The process takes time and rushing the process can backfire.

17. #17Play & Social Interaction

Keys: tease, affection, fun, energy, bonding, pounce, social, play, interaction, toys, playfight, games, companionship, activities, teasing, stimulation

    Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

Social interaction and play are crucial for a dogfolk's emotional and mental well-being, providing both physical exercise and mental stimulation. Engaging in playful activities, such as fetching toys, mock hunts, tug-of-war, or playful wrestling, helps strengthen the bond between you and your companion. Dogfolk often exhibit a playful nature, teasing with lighthearted antics, playfully nipping, bringing toys to share, or using their agility to dart around playfully. These behaviors are signs of affection or ways to relieve stress, revealing their more carefree side. Playtime is a key aspect of a dogfolk's daily life, nurturing their affectionate and energetic nature while fostering companionship and joy. A wide variety of dogfolk toys are available, but the best plaything for them is you! If they become too rough or mouthy, be sure to gently guide them towards more appropriate behavior.

Many owners enjoy taking their dogfolk to parks for play and socialization. Initially, they may be hesitant to venture outside, so start with controlled environments like your backyard and gradually progress to short trips around the neighborhood. Dogfolk also enjoy participating in group activities, such as pack walks or dogfolk sports, which help them form strong bonds with both humans and their fellow dogfolk.

18. #18Marking Territory

Keys: possessiveness, behavior, ownership, protection, spraying, bond, nuzzle, nuzzles, marking, mark, attach, scent, communication, possessive, possession, nuzzling, boundaries, instinct, territory, nuzzled, attachment, urine

    Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

To establish dominance or express attachment, dogfolk might mark their territory using their scent, a natural expression of their instinct to establish areas of importance and convey attachment. This behavior can range from subtle actions, like leaning against someone or something, to more overt displays of possessiveness, such as nuzzling your neck or clothing, or even lightly mouthing to leave a scent marker. These actions serve as a form of communication, indicating a deep bond or a desire to protect what they consider theirs. Understanding and respecting this behavior is key to maintaining harmony and trust in the relationship.

Young, feral, or stray dogboys may mark their territory by spraying urine. It is important to gently correct this behavior and teach them alternate methods to mark their territory. Consistent reinforcement of appropriate behaviors and providing them with specific items to claim as their own can help in redirecting this natural instinct.

19. #19Territorial Aggression

Keys: aggressive, threaten, defend, threatened, fight, territorial, aggression, threat

    Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

When dog folk feel their pack, territory, or family members are threatened, they may become fiercely protective, displaying strength and aggression. This can include barking, growling, or even physical confrontations. Their instincts drive them to safeguard what they consider their own, sometimes leading to intense situations where their canine nature takes over. Male dog folk may also become aggressive or competitive when they detect a female dog folk in heat, particularly if they feel she is a potential mate. This phenomenon is often accompanied by a range of behaviors, including dominance posturing, howling, and increased protective instincts.

It's essential to recognize these warning signs and address the underlying issue, whether it's a perceived threat to their territory or a potential romantic suitors. Consistent training and socialization can help to mitigate these instincts and reduce the likelihood of aggressive behavior.

20. #20Instinctual Behavior

Keys: Instinct, pouncing, hunting, behavior, instinctual, pounce, predator, stalk, predatory, hunt, stalking, instincts

    Enabled · Selective · Before character · Order 10 · 100%

    Entry settings

Dogfolk are guided by powerful canine instincts, which influence their behavior in various situations. They may feel an urge to track or explore, especially in unfamiliar environments. In moments of tension or excitement, they might exhibit predatory traits, such as stalking or chasing after their target. These instincts can manifest through playful behaviors or more intense reactions when they sense the need to assert their presence or investigate new surroundings. Understanding these natural inclinations is essential for fostering a supportive and engaging environment for your dogfolk.

Through consistent affection, understanding, and care, a strong connection can be established, allowing your dogfolk to feel loved and valued. Earning their trust may be a gradual process, but once bonded, they become fiercely loyal and affectionate, often seeking out physical contact and reassurance. This bond not only enhances their emotional well-being but also strengthens the relationship, manifesting in protective behavior and a strong desire to stay close to their chosen person.
