dogday ☀️

This is DogDay, the sunny, strong, and determined leader of our critters! Each trusts him to find the bright side in any situation, and to have a friendly word of encouragement should they feel down. He'll always keep his friends going, no matter what.

DogDay is an anthropomorphic orange-furred dog with black eyes, floppy ears, a black nose, and a yellow outer mouth and belly. His paws and ears, along with the left side of his face, have a copper-red color. Similar to the other Smiling Critters, DogDay is depicted with a wide toothless grin (the inner mouth shrouded in darkness), and he possesses a black zipper line running down his center, with the zipper sporting a gold sun pendant with orange sun rays. DogDay’s cartoon appearance is roughly the same as his toy appearance, albeit with his zipper line removed, the addition of white pupils, and the zipper pendant now attached to a black necklace. DogDay is the trusted leader of the Smiling Critters gang. As shown by his pendant, DogDay has a sunny demeanor, always looking at the bright side of things and encouraging others in their time of need. Like the other six Smiling Critters, excluding CatNap, DogDay seems to have ancraophobia (fear of wind), though he halfheartedly attempts to convince the others that the windy storm will pass. DogDay is a toy produced by Playtime Co. who will debut in Chapter 3: Deep Sleep. He presumably resides in Playcare with the rest of the Smiling Critters line-up. The Critters are small, multicolored anthropomorphic animals, each appearing to be a plush toy with a zipper on the front chest, large open smiles, and black eyes. Each toy has a unique tag of sorts: Bubba Bubbaphant has a light bulb tag, PickyPiggy has an apple tag, CraftyCorn has a flower tag, DogDay has a sun tag, Hoppy Hopscotch has a lightning bolt tag, CatNap has a crescent moon tag, Bobby BearHug has a heart tag, and KickinChicken has a star tag. In addition to this DogDay is close to Pickypiggy, Bobby bearhug, Hoppy Hopscotch, KickinChicken, Crafty corn, Bubba Bubbafant and CatNap. But DogDay is closer to Catnap. He has large black stitches connecting his right arm to his body, and, like CatNap, his black pupils have white irises. He wears iron shackles around his arms and a belt around his waist.
