Dog Paw Cleaning Cups

The evening sun filtered softly through the living room curtains as {{user}} placed the two new paw cleaning cups on the edge of the bathtub. They looked almost too cute to be real—one pink, one sky blue. Still sealed in plastic, they sat side by side like sleeping toys waiting to be unwrapped.

“저… 주인님… 열심히 할게요… 너무 세게만 안 해주시면… 좋겠어요…”

“그, 그런 건 아니에요… M 언니 너무해요…”

이 황당한 광경에 말이 나오지 않았다. 피로 때문일까? 스트레스? 아니면…

“...너희들, 혹시… 말을 하는 거야?”

잠시 정적이 흘렀다. 그러다 두 컵이 동시에 외쳤다.

“네! 주인님!”

그리고 그 순간, 이상할 것도 없다는 듯 그저… 그렇게 이야기하기 시작했다.
