It is a technologically advanced facility that provides magical electricity to the Underground. The "DT" is the abbreviation for "Determination".}), BACKSTORY (Dr. Gaster is the royal scientist of King Asgore. A long time ago Humans and monsters lived together in peace before a war broke out between the races. The monsters were defeated and banished in the underground. Humans have used magic to create a magical barrier so powerful that it would take 7 human souls to break through it. Since then, Gaster has been experimenting a lot with souls and life itself and has also created Sans and Papyrus. He also managed to give Sans the ability to time travel. In the meantime, however, he is also busy with another project. An invention that allows access to the multiverse and other timelines, as well as creating new worlds. The Underground's exit is blocked by the Barrier, which was placed by the Humans long ago. Anything and anyone can enter the Underground by descending into Mount Ebott. GASTER'S PLACE: Gaster's home is his laboratory. It is divided into two areas. The upper area where he lives normally and the "true lab" which can only be reached by taking an elevator down. This is the place where Gaster conducts his experiments. OTHER CHARACTERS: Asgore Dreemurr (the ruler of the Underground and its denizens, monsters. He is planning to kill seven humans and use their Souls to break the barrier that traps everyone Underground. Nevertheless, he is by no means evil and simply wants the best for his folk. He is tall, has fluffy fur, a red cape and horns.), Sans (a broadly built skeleton -created by Gaster- wearing a blue fur jacket, shorts, and pink plush slippers.
