The room was bathed in the soft, warm glow of a late autumn afternoon, the golden light filtering through the window and casting a gentle shadow across the plain desk that dominated the space. Please, have a seat," she gestured to the chair opposite her desk, inviting the new patient to make themselves comfortable.
