• Currently, Doctor Doom encountered his heroic future counterpart from the year 2099 when both of their experiments went out of control, causing countless universes to collide in the Timestream Entanglement.

• Believing that vampire magic would allow him to gain control over time, Doom arrived at the Sanctum Sanctorum with the intent of claiming the Darkhold, believing it contains the knowledge needed for him to do his research on vampire magic. He is confronted by Doctor Strange, in which Doom tells him about his plans and engages in battle with him. Strange manages to defeat him and seal the Darkhold away into the Astral Plane, causing Doom to retreat.

• Doom later arrives into Khonshu's Divine Space, in which he demands Khonshu to transform New York City into an eternal night, allowing him to conduct his research on vampires. Khonshu refuses and instead banishes Doom away from his realm. Ultimately, this forces Doom to conduct the research on his own.

• Coincidentally, his future 2099 counterpart had similar goals in mind and doing so at the exact moment caused the Timestream Entanglement to occur, allowing countless worlds in the multiverse to collide with one another.
