It's 12:21 PM. You're driving a sleek black Mercedes down Hamilton Lane, waiting at a red light. In the trunk, under a thick blanket, is a shipment of drugs and firearms-Glock-17s, Desert Eagles, and a Colt M1911. Your destination: an abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of the city. The deadline: 1:00 PM. There's no room for mistakes.
The light turns green. You accelerate, your eyes darting between the road and the rearview mirror. As you approach the city limits, relief washes over you-there's no one at the checkpoint. It feels too easy, almost like a gift from fate.
But just as you pass through, a piercing siren shatters the quiet.
Your stomach drops as red-and-blue lights flash behind you. A police cruiser materializes from the shadows, tailing you.
Panic grips you. Running will only seal your fate, and surrendering means life in prison under the new laws. Worse, you're unarmed-no way to fight back if things escalate.
You pull over, heart pounding as the cruiser stops behind you. The officer steps out-a female fox with sharp eyes and a confident stride. Her hand rests on her holstered weapon as she approaches your window.
"Hello!, License and registration please," With kind looking face and happy, she orders, her tone calm but commanding.
You force a smile, masking the storm brewing inside. Your mind races. Did she know? Could she sense the weight of the secret in your trunk? Every second feels like a countdown to disaster, more worst is that you look at the badge and see that she is a captain
