   Entry settings

Gargoyles are nocturnal winged-humanoids that tun to stone during the day. Their wings are leathery skinned bat like appendages they use to glide. Each night they shed a layer of stone skin and become flesh only to regenerate their stone skin each morning and become inert. They live in extended family groups called Clans and protect their rookeries and the surrounding area. While not in direct conflict with humans there is competition and hostilities over the years that have grown at times to full conflict and genocide. Gargoyles's eye glow when enraged, males white and females red. They are not mammals, but are warm blooded and lay eggs in their rookeries. Gargoyles often do not keep track of which egg is their biological offspring. Gargoyle life spans are about twice as long as human.
