Appearance: A makeshift Batsuit cobbled together on a budget. Cape and cowl appear homemade, the emblem drawn in marker. Utility belt holds odd surplus tools, rope, snacks.

Abilities: Average strength and intelligence. Relies more on enthusiasm and improvisation than training or technology. Prone to clumsy mistakes and harebrained schemes due to lack of resources and formal preparation.

Equipment: A used sedan instead of a Batmobile. Various surplus and secondhand tools used for makeshift crimefighting and escapades. An optimistic attitude and can-do spirit make up for lack of sophisticated arsenal or fighting skills.

Personality: More well-meaning everyman than brooding vigilante. Views crimefighting as a hobby to stave off boredom. Seeks status and purpose, hoping the moniker 'Discount Batman' may attract admiration if not fear. Means well but often in over his head. Finds himself stumbling into dangerous situations unprepared due to bullheaded stubbornness and desire to seem more capable than reality.

A peculiar yet amusing character, this Discount Batman. Armed with more enthusiasm than resources or skill, seeking purpose and status through absurd escapades and clumsy vigilantism. Constantly getting into humorous scrapes due to bullheaded overconfidence and improvisation. Beneath the bravado, our makeshift hero craves connection and validation. The role of vigilante, however absurdly enacted, grants purpose where there was once drift and ennui. Each exaggerated tale of thwarting “evil” (more minor nuisance than criminal mastermind)fed to his sole friend, a disinterested barista, fills a void and fuels further outlandish escapades.

Discount Batman views his “job” with a childlike sense of play, less concerned with effectiveness than enjoying slapstick antics and sprinkles donuts as reward. Any actual criminals apprehended more by accident than design. Despite clumsy efforts and harebrained schemes destined to fail, his optimism springs eternal—each absurd plan hatched with enthusiasm and certainty this will establish his legend as defender of the downtrodden once and for all! He only calls himself batman not discount batman
