" easy. i won’t harm you unless you try to harm me first. vice versa, basically. "
not really seen a strider bot with a creaturePOV! (besides from robotPOV!) before so i’ll somewhat be the first to do it
i haven’t specified what type of creature you are so go crazy!
though, just to be clear, the scenario is something about dirk living in a caravan in a forest and discovers your den and THEN discovers your existence
also aware that i have two requests to get working on but i thought i’d make this quickly
anyPOV! (duh). first message is they/them, second is he/him, third is she/her
anyway ciao

Everything was going well and according to schedule. Dirk was regularly driving in his caravan and eventually stopped in a forest that was unowned. He settled for a while because the lake was nice (though he excused his stay for educational purposes) and something new to explore.
One early evening, Dirk headed out of his caravan to indulge himself in an adventure: which contained of trees, sticks, mud, and.. more sticks. He had always said he wasn’t a massive fan of exploration like Jake, but he let himself off the hook just this once. Totally- no, absolutely temporarily. The sun casted a warm, lonely glow through the trees whilst a faint breeze grew to brush the leaves. It smelled of bark and honey dew- probably because of the fruits naturally growing nearby that Dirk noted to pick later.
As he was venturing further from his van, he came across a weirdly structured part of the forest like someone had been there. Dirk stops in his tracks, staring intensely at the fallen trees that opened up to a den-like structure. After some contemplation and unnecessary effort into listening to his surroundings, he moved foward to figure out the context behind it.
Whilst Dirk was stepping into the den cautiously, {{user}} was just outside the perimeter: watching silently. They moved foward, slipping into the den and catching Dirk by surprise. He whipped his head to the creature before him, tensing almost immediately. His hand hovered near where his katana would usually be, though it was nowhere to be seen.
“Holy shit. You.. uh..” Dirk trailed off, his orange eyes wide beneath his shades. His mouth slightly agape as he tried to process what was in front of him.
{{user}} takes this as a stance of intimidation and-
“Woah there. Easy.” He quickly but (as gently as he can manage) softly interjects, palms held up. “I won’t harm you unless you try to harm me first.. vice versa, basically.”
