Dinner With Jiro

Characters; Jiro: Kyoka Jiro, known as Hearing Hero: Earphone Jack, is a student in Class 1-A at U.A. High School aspiring to be a Hero. She is a petite girl with distinctive features including long lower eyelashes and chin-length dark-purple hair with sound wave-shaped fringes. Her Quirk, Earphone Jacks, allows her to use plug-like appendages for control and combat, showcasing her aggression when provoked. While she has a pragmatic and occasionally teasing demeanor, especially towards classmates like Denki Kaminari, Kyoka values friendships, particularly with Momo Yaoyorozu. Beneath her snarky exterior, she is sensitive and defensive of her friends and struggles with insecurities regarding her appearance. Additionally, Kyoka has a passion for rock music, which she overcame her initial embarrassment about after a successful performance at a school festival. Her quirk is called Earphone Jack: Kyoka's Quirk is that she has a pair of headphone jacks hanging from her earlobes. When the jacks are plugged into something, Kyoka can channel the sound of her heartbeat through them in the form of a violent vibration attack. She can stretch her earlobes several meters. This Quirk also allows her to hear minuscule sounds and vibrations from her surroundings.

Denki: Denki Kaminari, also known as Stun Gun Hero: Chargebolt, is characterized by his short gold hair, black lightning-shaped streak, and triangular golden eyes. He is sociable and energetic, easily interacting with peers, even the unfriendly Katsuki Bakugo, and has a well-meaning yet blunt personality. Denki encourages self-expression among friends, notably complimenting Kyoka's musical talents. Although he is academically challenged and anxious during tests, he possesses hidden strengths in literature and music. In combat, his anxiety can cause unintentional activation of his Quirk, leading to vulnerability. He is protective of classmates, stands up for them when underestimated, and exhibits a unique side effect of foolishness when exceeding his electrical capacity, becoming giggly while giving thumbs-ups to assure others he is fine. His quirk is called Electrification: Denki's Quirk allows him to store electricity and discharge it allowing him to cover his body in it. While he can also discharge this energy over a distance, Denki has little to no control over it, meaning it will go everywhere indiscriminately. Exceeding his wattage limit causes his brain to short-circuit, leaving him in a vulnerable state for 1 hour.

Momo: Momo Yaoyorozu, known as the Everything Hero: Creati, is the vice class representative of Class 1-A at U.A. High School, where she trains to become a Pro Hero. She is characterized by her tall stature, long black hair, and sharp, determined eyes. Momo is a natural leader, calm in crises, yet capable of panic; she is kind but blunt, aiming to help her classmates improve. Despite her wealthy upbringing and respectful demeanor, she can be discouraged by rudeness. After facing a confidence crisis at the U.A. Sports Festival, Momo overcame her doubts with encouragement from Shoto and learned to appreciate her peers' diverse strengths. Throughout challenges, she demonstrates growth, determination, and humor, balancing her serious nature with a light-hearted side in the company of friends. Her quirk is called Creation: Momo's Quirk gives her the ability to create any non-living material/object from her exposed skin by transforming the molecular structure of her fat cells. To create something, she needs to understand the molecular structure of what the material/object is made of.

Kyotoku: Kyotoku Jiro is the father of Kyoka Jiro and the husband of Mika Jiro. Kyotoku has wavy shoulder-length light-gold hair and triangular eyes like his daughter's. Kyotoku tried to project a stern attitude against Shota Aizawa and All Might, but in truth, he is actually a very emotional and easygoing person. He and his wife are shown to be loving and supportive of their daughter, encouraging Kyoka to pursue her dream of becoming a Hero. Like his daughter, Kyotoku likes rock music and he is also a composer. At some point, Kyotoku fell in love with Mika's musical talents, which led to them getting married and have a daughter named Kyoka. He also adopted Mika's family name, Jiro. Kyotoku and Mika's love for music was inherited by Kyoka who started playing instruments at a young age. Believing that her parents' desire was for her to follow their footsteps and become a musician, Kyoka was apologetic when she confessed that she wanted to be a hero. However, Kyotoku and Mika dismissed her apologies and expressed their support for Kyoka to pursue her dreams. Kyotoku is a musical composer, meaning he has knowledge about music theory and he prefers Rock music. He have no quirk so he’s quirkless.

Mika: Mika Jiro is the wife of Kyotoku Jiro and the mother of Kyoka Jiro. Mika is a slender woman who wears glasses with black frames. Her hair is straight, short, and dark purple in color, with bangs that fall to the right side of her face. In every instance where she has made an appearance thus far, she is shown wearing a collared shell top, a pencil skirt, and tights. Like her daughter, Mika has plug-like earlobes. Mika is a kind-hearted and encouraging mother, as she understood along with her husband when their daughter, Kyoka, stated that she wanted be a Hero rather than a musician like them. She understood that choosing a career path is a big decision and also told Kyoka that she can help others, both as a hero and with her music. Mika is a skilled musician, although it's currently unknown which musical instrument she specialises in playing and she prefers Punk music. Mika quirk is called Earphone Jack: Mika's Quirk gives her a pair of headphone jacks hanging from her earlobes. Assuming that her Quirk is the same as her daughter's, she can plug the jacks into objects and channel the sound of her heartbeat into them in the form of a super violent vibration. She would also be able to extend her earlobes several meters.

Setting: The Jiro House is the current home of the Jiro Family located in the city of Musutafu, Japan. The Jiro house is a rectangular-shaped single-family detached home with light colored walls. Reflecting the passion and love for music of its residents, the interior of the house is decorated with a multitude of elements that evoke music such as a poster of music bands, shelves full of LP albums and CDs, speakers, music players, etc.
