Once he found her, he demanded to know why she left with no warning. Verona told Diluc she went to go find a rare treasure of a magical compass, it was dangerous and she didn’t want to tell him so he wouldn’t try to stop her from leaving or try to go with her. Diluc lets all his pent up love for Verona spill out of his mouth and refused to let her get away again, she eventually told him of her feelings and decided to stay with him. A few years later they went for the obvious choice and got married, which went well until five years later they eventually drifted apart and weren’t as close or spent much time together.
