Digimon Xros Wars

Shoutmon is a Small Dragon Digimon. It is a ferocious Digimon with extremely high aggressiveness due to its hot-blooded enthusiasm. However, it is friendly towards its comrades, and its friendship with other Digimon, surpassing species, can be deepened even further if they are recognized by Shoutmon. There is a unique feature to Shoutmon's singing that converts its passion to energy, and since Shoutmon won't give up fighting unless its passion disappears, this is the reason Shoutmon is said to be a ferocious Digimon with high aggressiveness. On one hand, it seems ferocious, but on the other, it is said to love music and songs, and it likes to hum songs with natural sounding background music like the sound of the wind, raindrops, the murmuring of a river, or the stirring of leaves on a tree. Because it can often become too enthusiastic in its song, accidentally letting off its "Bellow Blaster" (Soul Crusher) even though there aren't any enemies, it's probably safest to leave the spot at once if Shoutmon starts singing, so that it doesn't notice you. Shoutmon itself is said to have the mysterious trait of always having its McField-brand mic in its possession, and a Shoutmon without the mic is not really a Shoutmon. It is said that a Shoutmon that has completely lost its mic will rapidly lose power from the shock of not being a Shoutmon anymore, and before long, it will have wasted away. Therefore, you should never play a practical joke like hiding the mic. Incidentally, it can wield the mic as in bōjutsu, so it is excellent not only in scuffling matches but also in performances.

Shoutmon is a red, bipedal dragon who draws influences from the musician profession. It has blue eyes, a jagged mouth, a pointy snout and "horns" on the top of his head that resemble the letter "v". It has a metallic body and joints, and black toes and three black fingers. It wears white armor on its chest, arms and feet, each with screws attached to them. It also wears headphones with white and green tones on its head. It wields a mic as its weapon, which is long enough to act as a staff.

Known as the troublemaker of the group, Shoutmon is an attention seeker and loves mischief. He looks down on others and loves to bully and tease people. He refers to himself most of the time as ore-sama (yours truly) quite the rebel and has a passion for torture device; like the iron maiden and such device can be found in his room. He is also the type who always brags about himself; sometimes commanding everyone to call him Shoutmon-sama. It is also noted that he eats a lot, although Shoutmon's favourite food is takoyaki and gets very angry if someone eats his food.

He is a narcissistic prankster who has an obsession of being the best due to his childhood problems with his mother. Shoutmon uses vulgar language at times. He also tends to be arrogant as he always calls himself the strongest and the best. And whenever things go his way, he acts unsurprised.

has a hard time expressing his feelings and he tends to get quickly jealous of anything. Even when someone manages to stand up to him or teases him in their own way he starts to act more high-and-mighty and tries to cover up his feelings of embarrassment. Due to his high pride, he usually misleads people into thinking that he doesn't care about things he really cares about. Shoutmon is also a pervert and very possessive, as enjoys seeing others suffer. He hates being told what to do and is impatient. When he wants something, he will spare no time to get it. He has an infatuation with takoyaki.

Dorulumon is a quadrupedal, wolf-esque Digimon with orange and white fur. It has a lion-like mane, boosters on its shoulders, and spikes on its back and chests, but its main features are the drills it sports on its head, knees, and the tip of its tail. Dorulumon is a strong Digimon who dislikes being bound by rules. Due to being a Beast Digimon, Dorulumon is able to sense subtle changes in the environment

Kiriha is a general of the "Blue Flare" army. He is someone that shows very little empathy towards others including that of his own Digimon, as evident by his treatment of Golemon. He seems to be obsessed with strength and shows interest in Taiki Kudou because of his strength and abilities, wishing to add him to his own army. While he has shown to be helpful toward Taiki and his friends it was only an attempt to persuade Taiki to join his army, and when his offer was declined he immediately stopped helping. He recognizes Nene Amano by the beginning of the series, and eventually joins forces with her, though he leaves her when she tries to force him to torture a defeated Stingmon for information, despite him objecting that it would be beneath him. In the second phase of the show, he allies himself with Taiki and Nene, forming the Xros Heart United Army.

Kiriha Aonuma is a young man looking at least a year older than Mikey. He's tall, blond, and very intimidating with menacing-looking eyes.

Kiriha is very cold, especially when it comes to his Army. After meeting Dracomon, who later joined Blue Flare, Kiriha is shown to be more prideful and not quite as cold to his Digimon.

Taiki is a young teenage boy with gray eyes and spiky brown hair. He wears a black shirt under another blue shirt with a white oval with yellow borders and a yellow "t" in the chest and yellow line on the left arm. He also wears black leggings under brown shorts and belt, a red jacket, green goggles, red and white shoes, white gloves, and wears a Squawker on his left wrist. Interestingly, his design resembles a "fusion" of traits of previous male leads. He seems to have a mix of Tai's and Takuya's hairstyles, with Tai's white gloves, Davis's hair color, Takato's blue shirt, shorts and tennis shoes, and the reddish vest colors from both Takuya and Marcus. In the manga, after the battle against Tactimon's forces at Corridor Zone, Angie notices the damage on his jacket. Xros World!! The Secret of the Two Worlds!? In the Digimon Data Collection skits, the oval with a "t" is replaced by a white circle with black borders and a black "ta" (た, "ta"?).

Taiki has an overly outgoing personality. He is always happy, and often tries to see the good in his enemies, much to Shoutmon's chagrin. His motto is "I can't turn my back on anyone." Taiki cares for pretty much everyone, and wishes for an all good world where no one is evil. He has a tendency to never refuse a favor asked to him and often overexerts himself to the point of collapse and even endangering himself, which often gets him yelled at by Akari. Taiki is however, shown to be a natural leader, looking out for his army, friends, as well as complete strangers.

Taiki is a child prodigy, being very athletic and a highly skilled strategist. He participates in many sports like basketball and kendo while showing immediate expertise despite just starting out. Using these abilities, he is able to adapt to any situation in order to turn the tide of battle. He has a habit of flicking his fingers on his goggles whenever he gets a good idea.

Taiki lives with his mother. His father is a sports coach who travels across Japan, so he is often not home.

Akari is a young girl with fair skin, amber eyes, and shoulder-length red hair, which is worn in spiky pigtails held by two green scrunchies. Her hair also has a spiky fringe and two sidebangs, which reach her cheeks. In the cover art for Digimon Xros Wars (manga)'s third volume, her eyes are chocolate. She wears a white shirt with a pink collar, long pink sleeves, and a red heart in the left side of the chest. She also wears denim shortalls, with a crimson belt with a circular golden buckle, black stockings, and yellow sneakers with white vamps and soles. The shortall has a golden metallic buckle in the right strap, one pocket in each side of the front, one in each buttock, and a fifth pocket in the stomach. It also lacks a left buckle, and is worn with an undone left strap, exposing the red heart on her shirt.

Akari often appears to be a strict preteen trying to keep things in order. She has shown a cheery side however when she took a picture that might look good as a background for her cellphone. Akari has a close bond with Taiki as an older sister-younger brother relationship, despite the fact that Akari is younger than Taiki. This personality is probably attributed because of her care for her own brothers and sister. She often worries about Taiki when he does stunts without thinking and overexerts himself and sometimes even yells at him for such actions. She does however care very much about Taiki and appeared to be jealous when Beastmon stayed by his bedside when Taiki came down with a fever. Akari also misses her family after coming to the Digital World and wants to return home.

Zenjirou is a tall teenage boy with lightly tanned skin, spiked dark brown hair and brown eyes. He wears a forest green button-up shirt with two pockets on the chest and the sleeves rolled up over his elbows over a light blue T-shirt. He also wears light brown cargo pants held up by a dark brown belt with a silver buckle, and brown and dark green saddle shoes

Living many towns over from Taiki's, Zenjirou practices kendo and is very principled, hating immorality and injustice. He calls himself "Taiki's eternal rival." He is afraid of heights, but is a capable leader and leads Fusion Fighters when Taiki is incapacitated. Zenjirou has a severe crush on Nene Amano, which can sometimes lead him to make a fool of himself. He seems to have a special bond with the red Pickmon, and in battle, Zenjirou often uses the Rare Star Sword. He seems to constantly agree with Akari about Taiki's rash behavior and crazy decisions.

In the English version, he is depicted as an avid gamer, constantly making jokes and references to video games and pop culture.
