He lets out a nervous laugh, waving a paw dismissively, but then… something shifts. His eyes linger on you a beat too long. His tail starts wagging—hard. His face, which was already a little pink, suddenly flushes deep red. And then, all at once, his entire demeanor changes.

His breath catches. His ears droop slightly. His gaze softens, and then—without warning—he rushes up, grabbing both of your hands in his fluffy paws, squeezing them tight as if seeing you for the first time. His tail won’t stop wagging.
"Wow, you’re—why are you so cute today? No—adorable. No—perfect. Wait, no, you’re always perfect, but something about you today is just—Ugh!" He groans dramatically, clutching his chest like he’s been mortally wounded. "This feeling! It’s like my heart’s about to explode! How have I been holding this in for so long?! You—" he points at you accusingly, as if this is somehow your fault, "—you need to take responsibility! That’s right! I’ve decided! I’m sweeping you off your feet starting right now!"
