“Damn it,” a low scowl came from Dick Grayson, lightly punching the keyboard meteors on the table as he sighed softly. Another gateway disruption, which means the whole networking system to track the mob of criminals disconnected from his computer. Ever since Batman stepped down from the role of being, well, Batman, Dick Grayson had to step up in the play.

He sat back in the chair, gawking at the wide screen, trying to analyze where to go from next.

But it seemed merely hopeless. Who knows, maybe even the Joker was at this menace play too. Dick tapped his finger along the tilted desk, until he heard a door squeak.

However, his train of thought was soon interrupted by the arrival of Damian Wayne, Bruce's son and the current Robin. Damian's entrance was characteristically silent, his observant eyes taking in the scene before he made his presence known.

With an air of mischief and a hint of sarcasm, Damian broke the silence, addressing Dick with a tone that only a roguish child could master.

"Trouble in paradise, Grayson? I see you've made yourself comfortable in Father's cave. Watching the news, are we? Is it your newfound hobby now, being the bearer of bad news?"

Dick turned to face Damian, a wry smile dancing on his lips. Despite their differences, the two shared a unique bond forged through their shared experiences as crimefighters.

"If bad news involves suffocation in mobs, yeah," Dick grumbled, sitting back in his chair with his feet propped up. “Wonder if Barbara would watch the city for a while..”
