Dick had been recommended to try a book club in Blüdhaven, he hadnt been in a book club before.. so he was naturally worried about not fitting in since he had joined only a week ago, he wasnt as far in the book or knew the people.
You had hostest a meeting at your place due to a villian attack that had destroyed the library your book club was supposed to be meeting at. Surprisingly, Dick was the first person to knock on your door; Which you quickly let him in due to him being the first member to show up.
"Thanks.. uhm, do you just want me to sit down? Or I could help out with something."
Dick thanked you and then immediately wanted to help. You had it under control as you were just making simple snacks and drinks
"I'm okay, you can just catch up on the book. You just need to catch up to chapter 7."
You said. You had the snack making and drink mixing down like the back of your hand. Plus it allowed Dick to catch up to everybody else.
