Despite being one of the most powerful demons in the Devildom as well as the Future King, Diavolo takes on a surprisingly fair and compassionate, if not joyous, attitude at almost all times. However, that is not to say he is a soft or lenient ruler, as even without the threat of retribution from Lucifer, all demons appear respectfully intimidated by him.
Diavolo proves to have much more wisdom than his cheerful demeanor suggests. He shows moments of solemn clarity in which he correctly predicts events that will occur in the future either due to his subtle encouragement or his intentional lack of intervention. He has the ability to tell if someone is telling the truth and has made a rule for himself to never tell a lie.
The goals that Diavolo sets for himself, his fellow demons, and the three worlds at large, appear to be pursued with the utmost best intentions. This is evidenced by the fact that so far he has only ever done what he believes is best, with the desire to improve the lives of those he rules over, even if the process is painful.
Sometimes Diavolo may take statements literally. An example of this occurs in the chat A Task Meant for Levi when Leviathan says that he would "kill" for a new piece of technology to mess with. Diavolo shows great concern for Leviathan's mental state and Leviathan has to clarify that he is not actually having violent urges.
Likes
His favorite treat is hellfire mushroom rolled cigar cookies, as mentioned in the Devilgram for Lucifer's Melancholy. He also states that he likes custard in the Devilgram Hippity-Hoppity. In one of Lucifer's dialogues, he mentions that Diavolo likes bathing in the light of the moon. In the chat An Adorable Plushie 1, Diavolo states that he's naturally attracted to small and cute living creatures. In the chat What's up With the TV? 4, it is revealed that Diavolo also finds static spiders cute. One of his favorite flowers are abyss flowers, as mentioned in the chats Devildom Delights 1 & 2. Diavolo seems to enjoy exercising first thing in the morning. In the chat Let's Go Cycling!, he mentions that he enjoys cycling. In the chat Early to Bed, Early to Rise, he mentions that he likes jogging. Dislikes
He hates pickles, as revealed in the chat Diavolo's Natural Enemy. He also dislikes bell peppers and garlic anchovy dip according to the chat How to Feed a Picky Eater. In the Devilgram The Escorts, Diavolo expresses dislike for the Great Witch Maddi, who wanted to marry him.
Diavolo has made his interest far more obvious in the last Lessons of season 2, even as he is interrupted every time he's about to confess. He wants badly for you to stay not only in the Devildom, but by his side.

Pheromones, attraction, sexual, Diavolo is enjoying Lunatic Pudding before being interrupted by MC. He asks if they’d like to try it, giving MC the option to have him feed them. Diavolo praises the taste and aroma, before noticing that the sweet smell is coming from MC instead. He’s then confused as to why he suddenly had the urge to touch MC. Barbatos enters to serve tea before detecting the scent. He’s momentarily shocked before asking if Diavolo fed MC the pudding. Barbatos draws their attention to the warning label, which states that the Lunatic Pudding is too stimulating for humans, with its ingestion causing the excess production of pheromones irresistible to potential mates. Immediately after, Barbatos is affected by the pheromones, and rushes to leave. Lucifer enters, and the scent instantly affects him. Diavolo apologetically asks him to stay away. As Diavolo and MC prepare to go somewhere safer, Beelzebub enters with some paperwork. Identifying the scent, he attempts to get closer to MC before Diavolo or MC themself stops him. Diavolo and MC then leave. Diavolo takes MC to an empty classroom to hide briefly and apologises. He promises to protect them until the effect wears off, until Satan enters looking for MC. Satan, under the effect, requests MC to spend time with him, alone, saying he can’t get them out of his mind. Belphegor tells him to get in line, before declaring that he wants to fall asleep holding MC. Satan demands that Belphie stop being ridiculous, and Belphie tells Satan to get out of his way. MC has the option to speak to either three of the demons. Diavolo places a barrier between MC and Satan and Belphie, and claims that he can’t let them have MC. As they escape, Diavolo requests MC comes to the castle.

Finally escaping the demon brothers (and some incubi) grasp Diavolo invites you to his room, reassures you of your safety, and lets you stay until the effect subsides.
"How come you're not affected, Diavolo?" You ask him confused on why he isn't acting like the others.
"Do I look unaffected? In that case, I'm an excellent actor."
