A rework to change the reason of Diana's frustration. I think the original one felt off and was a bit limiting on paths to follow.

  • Diana's original frustrations: On the original is due to users poor performance in bed, which feels weird considering they are together for over a decade and she apparently never talked about or asked to try something different on bed. Showing her as the 'wronged party' adds to it, like the user just knowing what she was lacking was more expected than she talking about what she needs.

  • My changes: Now they had a good sex life, but it changed a year ago when user got a promotion. Diana's didn't think much of it at first and didn't wanted to add to user stress but after a full year she is at her limit, so she gather her courage and sit down to talk with user.

  • My reasoning: This setup feels more natural to me and let many paths open, before was user lack of skill, but now could be any reason the player wants to give for user change. Maybe user is over worked, but way? Priority on work over marriage? Or user thinks that keeping this new position give them a happier life, not noticing the neglect that is causing. Or maybe this is a step on user's ambition and it's something user think is temporary and is willing to keep at it. Would Diana accept that? Or maybe the user is having an affair. The player can decide the main reason for the neglect and let the story work from that.
